During that same sermon, Greear called on Christians to stand up for LGBTQ rights. Now, he’s calling on Christians to incorporate something he calls “pronoun hospitality” for transgender people. In a recent podcast, Greear says he takes the side of Andrew Walker, a major contributor to both the Southern Baptist Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) and The Gospel Coalition (TGC), and would use the “preferred pronouns” of transgender people who came to his church.

Rebecca McLaughlin’s favorite idols include feminism, identity politics, repenting of racial ‘privilege’, and LGBTQ+ rights. McLaughlin is an authority on this last topic, as she claims to have been sexually attracted to women since her earliest days. She gives no mention of repentance, sin, or even change. In fact, McLaughlin regularly boasts before large audiences of the desires that God calls vile affections (Rom. 1:26), while rigorously avoiding God’s words. You will not hear her speak of evil desire, sinful passion, impure lust, dishonorable passion, or a debased mind (Col. 3:5, Rom. 7:5, Rom. 1:24–26, Rom. 1:28). McLaughlin prefers the terms “Same Sex Attraction” and “messy”.

Is the rise of the transgender legal army a sign we’re in the last days? Perhaps, but either way it’s definitely a sign the far left has injected their agenda into everything associated with the Democratic Party and progressivism in general. They’re using transgenderism as a way of shutting down all debate against this agenda, and unfortunately it’s working. Even Chick-fil-A, who weathered the challenges they faced fighting abortion as an anti-Biblical notion, were forced to cave under the weight of the transgender agenda.

Thank you for expounding on the fast and grievous downward spiral of apostasy. (Chick-fil-A, however, was not “forced” to cave into compromise. They had God’s favor but turned away for approval of man. Shame!)
