Theologically Sound. Culturally Relevant.

Ron DeSantis takes on Critical Race Theory

On every issue the Republican base cares about, Ron DeSantis is leading the way in crafting innovative policies to address salient concerns, such as Big Tech censorship, coronafascism, election integrity, and now Critical Race Theory. Late into the Trump Presidency, Trump announced a crackdown on Critical Race Theory at a federal level. Trump certainly led the way in implementing a strategy to combat Cultural Marxism’s terraforming of American culture. But with Trump no longer as President, predictably the Biden Regency would double down on Critical Race Theory initiatives, most notably in the armed forces.

While it is imperative that we fight Critical Race Theory in the church, this does not mean we should only fight this ideology from the pulpits. We should fight this ideology with our dollars where possible, in public, and in politics. Ron DeSantis is attacking Critical Race Theory. There is no reason why this cannot be done in other states and at the local level. Local school boards are capable of banning Critical Race Theory from the classrooms. State are capable of codifying Critical Race Theory as workplace harassment, therefore allowing EEOC complaints against HR departments that impose this racist ideology.

It is not a false choice on where to fight Cultural Marxism. The fight will come to us whether we invite it or not. Winston Churchill’s famous speech against Nazi Germany is the exact attitude we need to have with Cultural Marxism:

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France,
we shall fight on the seas and oceans,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
we shall fight in the hills;

we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God’s good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.

Winston Churchill 4 June 1940

As Christians we cannot betray our God and submit to this ideology. And praise God, Ron DeSantis is taking on this fight. Praise God, the Alabama Senate is taking on transgenderism. No retreat.
