Brian Houston court case deferred to next year

In early August, Brian Houston was indicted for concealing sex abuse of his late homosexual pedophile father, Frank Houston. Evangelical Dark Web has been reporting on and tracking this story. Houston was expected to have a court appearance on November 23, 2021. However, his case has now been deferred to next year. The next court appearance is expected to be January 27, 2022.

Brian Houston maintains his innocence and believes that he will be exonerated. Brian Houston has since scaled back his leadership role at the Hillsong empire he built. The last year has been tumultuous for the megachurch with the adultery scandal of Carl Lentz of Hillsong NYC, arguably their most influential figurehead in the United States, along with numerous financial improprieties in their US franchises. This sex abuse has been known about for decades; however, the Australian government seeks to prove that Brian Houston was involved in covering it up.

It’s important to note that despite the fact that Brian Houston is an unqualified false teacher, the Australian government may be acting with prejudicial animus towards him because they don’t know the difference. Evangelical Dark Web will continue tracking this story.

    1. Brian Houston hasn’t been found guilty yet though. It’s very possible he gets off on this.
