Last week, Planned Parenthood announced it was going to roll out Hormone Replacement Therapy in all of its Michigan locations, drawing attention to their business diversification.
Planned Parenthood does not require prescriptions or referrals to operate. According to their website,
Transgender hormone therapy is available through our expanded online care services. Planned Parenthood uses an informed consent model. This means we do not require a referral or therapy note to get this service.
This has been going on for several years. This service is not available everywhere, but according to their press release, over 320 locations participate in transgenderism.
