It was widely known that Guidepost Solutions was a woke corporation but a week away from the Annual Southern Baptist Convention they rubbed it in with a social media post placing their logo in some variation of a gay flag. Guidestone was the corporation that conducted the Sex Abuse Task Force Report which accused Johnny Hunt of sexual assault and also covered up far more politically inconvenient events.

With the convention a week out, the tweet sent last minute shockwaves in the Southern Baptist world. In its report, Guidepost Solutions makes several recommendations. One of the most controversial recommendations is to use Cooperative Program dollars to pay damages caused by sex abusers.
What will happen at the Southern Baptist Convention is someone will make a motion to summarily adopt Guidepost’s recommendations in the report. Another messenger will second. If conservatives are lucky, there will be five minutes of debate for such a significant motion. Thus Guidepost Solutions will have more influence in the Annual Southern Baptist Convention than God.
