June is one of the busiest months of the year in Christian news. Multiple denominations have their annual meeting such as the PCA and the SBC. While the prognosis on the PCA seems generally positive, the Southern Baptist Convention is is shifting from liberalism to pragmatism. More on these outcomes to come.
For the Evangelical Dark Web, June was an eventful month in which Evangelical Dark Web got mass flagged on YouTube during our SBC22 livestream, resulting in a hard community guidelines strike. Despite the fact that this suspended the channel for a week during a critical period, the channel still had a great month.

The data from the analytics had more contradiction between sources than I’ve ever observed, so I am not using Google analytics for June’s results. I’m also surprised that a rather minor article on JD Greear barely surpassed more pressing news events. The JD Hall news hurt to write about and looms heavy over my heart, more than any story I recall writing about.
New Logo
The image of this article is the new Evangelical Dark Web logo. The updated branding appeared mid June and is being integrated over the ministry. Evangelical Dark Web is positioning itself to be the future of Christian news in which discernment will separate us from more mainstream publications like Christian Post and Christianity Today.
Videos
The Evangelical Dark Web’s largest livestream ever was nuked by YouTube in a suspiciously timed censorship crackdown. Despite this lull in posting the channel doubled the previous months subscriber growth. After July 19th, we can expect more livestreams.
Discernment
As discernment is what I set off to do with Evangelical Dark Web, as announced last month, no new research verdicts would be published due to the fast news pace of this month. Rich Wilkerson Jr. of VOUS Church will be next. You can make a request here.
Additionally, it’s worth pointing out how useful and effective the reporting on Andy Wood will be in the coming months and perhaps years, as he is set to take over for Saddleback Church. Exposing his compromise on a proxy issue like homosexuality is a substantive feat.
“Patreon” System
Evangelical Dark Web has a tier subscription service. A lot of competitors have this (a term of endearment in this case) and for good reason. The purpose of this is not to make the founder of this site rich. This is a labor of love and will remain that way. Rather the purpose of this is to build a war chest. I have great admiration for what people like Jon Harris of Conversations That Matter are doing in supporting a new decentralized infrastructure for the church to navigate the fallen institutions all around us and crafting professional documentaries telling important stories. Consider joining. This will allow access to all the Evangelical Dark Web has to offer, like polls for the next discernment verdict.
Soli Deo Gloria,
Ray
