For the last two years, Kanye West’s profession of faith has been reduced to yet another adventure in his life as he has shown a demonstrable pattern of refusing discipleship, embracing false teachers, and supporting homoerotic music. Despite being stronger on the abortion issue than most in Big Eva, he is also now a Black Hebrew Israelite, a fact which has gotten him censored by Instagram and on the ropes with Twitter.
As some are pointing out, the Black Hebrew Israelite theology is nonsensical on its surface, unfounded in both history and the Bible. What’s strange is we do not know how prevalent the ideology is, but there are numerous celebrity proponents of it, most relatedly Ice Cube.

There is some personal context behind West’s words, and perhaps it is similar to the story of Ice Cube’s career. Nevertheless, the Black Hebrew Israelites are a cult.

The black Hebrew Israelites is a false belief, while I agree that the majority of modern Jews are “Jews who are not Jews”, and are really Khazarians. But the black people are descendants of Kush (aka Ethiopia), they are NOT the children of Mitzrayim, Put or Canaan; all of whom are the children of Ham. The same is with the false Jews, they are descendants of Gomer, son of Japheth; while the true Hebrews are of the line of Shem. Just a reminder of what St. John the Evangelist said in his epistle, “Who is a liar, but he who denies that Jesus is the Messiah, they are of antichrist, and know neither the Father nor the Son.” (I John 2:22).
