Bart Barber Goes Blue Anon For 60 Minutes

Bart Barber’s recent appearance on CBS’s 60 Minutes was a PR circuit to rehab the Southern Baptist Convention’s self-imposed brand as a hive of sex abuse cover-up in light of the Sex Abuse Task Force Report which did not uncover previously unknown instance of sex abuse cover-ups. The only major revelation from the report were the highly suspect allegations against Johnny Hunt. CBS pushed the SBC’s preferred branding despite the lack of evidence to it citing the “list of potential sex abusers” that the Executive Committee of the SBC hid for liability reasons. As Evangelical Dark Web previously reported, the list was public domain. But Bart Barber was here to signal his virtue.

Bart Barber tries to frame himself as being called by God to serve the SBC as president because of this issue. In reality, he was called by the elites when Willy Rice had to drop out of the race. CBS was more interested in getting Bart Barber to talk politics ahead of the midterm elections. To their stated surprise, Bart Barber was happy to oblige. Barber told CBS that the election was not stolen and that he believed Mike Pence’s life was put in danger by President Trump on January 6th.

Despite attacking pro-life Christians, Bart Barber did exceedingly well on the abortion question presented by Anderson Cooper. Additionally, he gave a standard Christian answer on the questions on homosexuality.

Although the CBS interview was highly cut down, there is no reason to doubt it was a fair representation of Barber’s views on politics, specifically, that Bart Barber believes the J6 narrative.

  1. More and more signs of Apostasy on his part and the SBC: read the loophole: “We call upon Southern Baptist to work for legislation that will allow the possibility of abortion under such conditions as rape, incest, clear evidence of fetal deformity, and carefully ascertained evidence of the likelihood of damage to the emotional, mental, and physical health of the mother.” Emotional state of the mother could be justified grounds for murder – give this some serious thought. The Reformers would red flag this excuse for abortion.
