Brian Houston sent a signal months ago that he was not done with preaching after being ousted from Hillsong and subsequent details of his mismanagement emerged. He has recently concluded a rehab tour in the United States. Now he’s returning to the Big Eva scene down under hosting his first event in several months.
The initial free event sold out (capacity limitations) leading to a second event being launched. Clearly the demand for Brian Houston is above zero, despite an ongoing criminal case related to sexual abuse his father, Frank Houston committed. The Houstons announced on Instagram:
Bobbie and I are looking forward to connecting, fellowshipping, and enjoying community with you on Wednesday night, 9th November at 7pm.
Bobbie will share and I will preach, and we pray people will be blessed, and God will be Glorified. Great things start with small beginnings.

Well we are still here and mostly smiling. We’ve had a wonderful last 6 weeks in USA and I’ve preached in 8 cities in that time. We’ve had so much wonderful time with pastor couples and we are feeling the love. We miss the congregation at Hillsong Church enormously and hopefully we’ll have the chance to tell our story sometime soon. The body of Christ at large have proved themselves to be just that. Grace-filled, loving and overwhelmingly supportive. Pray for me with a court case looming. Love and grace to you all.
