Jon Harris, in a recent podcast episode, brought on Brazilian missionary to the United States, Ricardo Martin to provide a Brazilian Christian perspective on the current unrest in the country. In the episode, he expressed a great sense of optimism for the growth of the church in Brazil over the past two decades.
Not only does he insist that the broader Brazilian culture is starting to reject socialism, but he insists on several occasions that the ousted Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro, is a devout Christian. A Christian world leader is an incredibly rare sight in the one hundred and ninety something nations in this world. But unfortunately, Bolsonaro could not overcome the system that was rigged against him.
Martin explains just how Bolsonaro unsuccessfully tried to fight the system, only to flee to the United States.
