Last year, Evangelical Dark Web exposed how Rick Warren’s replacement, Andy Wood was compromised on the issue of homosexuality, but apparently the most controversial church in the Southern Baptist Convention is also outside of the SBC’s views on homosexuality in a similarly brazen way. Andy Stanley has been under a microscope for his views on homosexuality and rightfully so, as discernment bloggers are doing what legacy Christian media should have done in 2012. Evidently, the digging into Andy Stanley’s open support of homosexuality flagged some connections with Andy Wood’s Saddleback Church.

Greg & Lynn McDonald are members of North Point Community Church, where Andy Stanley preaches, and are activists on this issue. They authored a book titled Embracing The Journey which has been well received by homosexual affirming false teachers, including the Matthew Vines. As a result of both the book and their connections with Andy Stanley, the McDonald’s are put on the Unconditional Conference which will take place from September 28-29th. Tickets range from $239 – $449. Andy Stanley will also be speaking at the conference as a headliner.
Enter Chris Clark
Chris Clark is a long time pastor at Saddleback Church who has a transvestite child which seems to be the impetus for their affirmation of homosexuality and transgenderism. They are the leaders of the grooming ministry at Saddleback known as Lead with Love. The “support group” ministry is named after it’s parent program, Embracing The Journey. Chris and Elisa Clark will be speaking at Unconditional Conference on how to start “support groups” at churches.
This would reason that Saddleback Church was one of the early adopters of the grooming agenda to have spread from Andy Stanley’s North Point Community Church. And the questions remains, how much further has this strain of rot spread.
