Despite the heavy news week and the momentum that the channel has been having for the past few months, I regretfully must announced that we have received a community guidelines strike from YouTube for a 2 year old interview that just now got flagged for “election misinformation.” Our appeal was automatically denied.
The suspension will last a week, presumably ending next Sunday. This will not impact Evangelical Dark Web’s commitment to Christian newsgathering and commentary. This is the only active strike on the channel and will last 90 days before expiring. A suspended YouTube account cannot announce its own suspension to the subscribers.
In the meantime, check out our other socials:
Support on Rumble will allow us to livestream on Rumble.
Last year, we were suspended during our livestream of the Southern Baptist Convention for “hate speech.” Thus it is important to diversify social media platforms.
Here is the video that got flagged: an interview I did a long time ago with an online colleague I had at the time.
