Every month Evangelical Dark Web provides a report on both the ministry and a summation of events going on within the church. March began with Jesus Revolution, a movie that came out on the heels of the so-called Asbury Revival yet had more substance to it than expected. One of the top three threats facing the Evangelical Church is feminism, particularly the weaponization of MeToo claims. This Rachael Denhollander theology suffered a landmark defeat in the Presbyterian Church in America, exonerating a pastor accused of sexual harassment. Teaching Elder Daniel Herron sued his accuser in secular court in order to obtain a deposition which exonerated him in the PCA’s Standing Judiciary Commission. Additionally, late in the month Paige Patterson was exonerated in court for negligence, and in early April defamation. The most maligned Southern Baptist figure received vindication. March had a lot of wins for the church, and it also made the Annual Southern Baptist Convention competitive in 2023. As Rick Warren is determined to fight the convention’s disfellowshipping of Saddleback, this provides a compelling reason to show up the SBC23 that the Conservatives Baptist Network has not provided.

Evangelical Dark Web got a Community Guidelines Strike which took us off YouTube for 7 days. The strike will remain against the channel until mid June. This hindered our growth on the platform, but we were able to cover stories in ways without being sensitive to YouTube TOS, like Uganda’s law banning homosexual identification.
Evangelical Dark Web’s audio podcast grew rapidly in March. As we finally figured out a method to streamline the audio file creation, it has had great results. Subscribe to it here.
Discernment is the bread and butter of Evangelical Dark Web, specifically responding to reader requests. In March, we wanted to publish two verdicts, but currently I am sitting on one of them and the other has not been started. I will publish after Resurrection Sunday. After these verdicts are done, there is currently a five way tie on who to research next which will be put to a vote for members.
I happy to announce that I am working on a book titled Winning Not Winsome. The manuscript has been professionally edited, and I am currently reviewing the editing comments. Target release is in June.
Currently we have a treasure trove of Enneagram content that we are mining in order to report on. It will essentially be like a Woke Preacher Clips but enneagram edition. Also expect a Christian Film Review of Nefarious.
Evangelical Dark Web has a tier subscription service. A lot of competitors have this (a term of endearment in this case) and for good reason. The purpose of this is not to make the founder of this site rich. This is a labor of love and will remain that way. The fog of Spiritual Warfare persists for those of us on the ground. We need accurate reporting that mainstream Christian websites are not providing either because they simp for celebrities, sold out to liberalism, or both. Consider joining. This will allow access to all the Evangelical Dark Web has to offer, like polls for the next discernment verdict.
Soli Deo Gloria,
