Chick-Fil-A Faces Renewed Backlash Over Commitment to DEI

For those who have been paying attention, Chick-Fil-A has been woke for some time. In fact this is one of the first stories we covered as a publication. In 2020, they would go in favor of Social Justice, climaxing with the owner, Dan Cathy emasculating himself. But amidst the backlash for wokeness seen against Bud Light and Target, Chick-Fil-A’s own promotion of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has come under a renewed scrutiny.

The webpage tries to reconcile a statement on glorifying God with DEI.

Chick-fil-A’s Corporate Purpose is “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come into contact with Chick-fil-A.”

Chick-fil-A, Inc.’s commitment to EEO, Non-Harassment, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Chick-fil-A, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity, equity and inclusion.  We make employment decisions on a non-discriminatory basis and remain committed to maintaining work environments free from any form of harassment.

It has been and shall continue to be our policy that we do not discriminate in employment decisions or tolerate any form of harassment based upon sex, race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, pregnancy, age, physical and mental disability, genetic information, marital status, medical condition, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, military and veteran status and/or any other status, classification, or factor protected by federal, state, or local law.

In addition to using the buzzwords of diversity, equity, and inclusion which became the mainstream after George Floyd, Chick-Fil-A also boasts their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This is synonymous with Environmental Social Governance (ESG) that’s more commonly talked about today, as this webpage was made in 2021.

The fact that Chick-Fil-A is woke is old news, but it seems after gay-shaming Bud Light successfully wrecked their company because they insulted their customers, there is momentum to try the same for Chick-Fil-A.

  1. Welcome to the former USA, where worship of sexual immorality is the new state imposed pagan religion, and the sexually immoral are a “protected class”

“No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”

The threshing continues. More chaff raises its ugly head.
