Mike Pompeo is the former Secretary of State under Donald Trump. He made it clear that he would not be running for President, yet Mike Pompeo has not stopped publicly advocating that the United States intervene on behalf of Ukraine. Neocon is as neocon does, but it was odd that Mike Pompeo used, perhaps by accident a story about a Christian student getting suspended from public school for evangelizing to make a point about Putin.
The non sequitur is palpable, as Putin did not suspend the Christian student out of North Carolina.
The overall point of food prices and the failed grain deal also miss the point that food prices went up when after the government signed the CARES Act in 2020 and printed a large proportion of currency in a very short amount of time. Did they not think their would be consequences for this. So while grain prices are certainly impacted by the war, everything else is attributed to the high levels of inflation and supply chain issues we are seeing. This is Joe Biden level of excuse making.
