A few months ago, Mark Robinson crushed his gubernatorial primary in North Carolina. Immediately afterward, polling suggested he would be the next Doug Mastriano. However, the race is once more tight. Robinson has been an exciting figure because of his devout faith in Christianity. If elected he could be the best governor in the country. This week he spoke at the Faith and Freedom Coalition and boldly proclaimed Christ is King.
Historically, figures like Francisco Franco, Napoleon, and others emerge from the peripheries of their nation. I would assume many Christian Nationalists would not expect a Protestant Franco figure to be Black. God has a way of doing the unexpected for his glory.
However, if Mark Robinson loses his race, this conversation will be null.
