Robert Morris is not the only elder at Gateway Church who has a scandal. There’s more turmoil beyond Robert Morris admitting to molesting a child after hiding it for years, often in plain sight. This week Gateway Church announced that an elder, Kemtal Glasgow, has been fired due to a disqualifying “moral issue.” The announcement is as follows:
The specifics of what sin Glasgow committed are not divulged, but they have specified to the media that it was not a criminal matter.
To make matters more unbiblical, Gateway Church promoted Adana Wilson to replace Glasgow. Wilson was previously a campus pastor. The Bible prohibits female elders in 1 Timothy.
