Nala Ray is a notorious on Only Fans ethot who repented last year and claims to be a Christian. In a viral video, she makes her argument that this is not required of being a Christian citing Romans 10:9.

See, from what I know is from Romans 10:9, the Bible, it says, that if you declare with your mouth and you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, then you will be saved. That is all it requires to become a Christian and to turn from your ways and to repent from them that I have to have a real transformation. Am I still doing that? No, I’m not still doing porn. I am not selling myself on the internet. I deleted every single thing, every single thing that could be even potentially explicit content off of all my social medias, dude off of every single platform I own. I even deleted my entire Twitter. I don’t have Twitter anymore.
Nala treated her testimony as powerful because of the debts of her depravity, but her testimony was about God’s mercy and how she was able to get rich being a hoe, still get married, have online celebrity, and of course eternal life. Escaping the natural consequences of sin has many people, perhaps, perhaps resentful that she has not suffered enough. For her to insist on keeping her sordid gains lends credence to her insincerety.
In Luke 19, Zaccheus repented and gave away the wealth he stole from others, unprompted. While there is no mandate to do this, it’s not a good look for a Christian to live off of sinful living.
So when you’re done judging, when you’re done, when you’re finished, when you can get to this point of peace where you’re like, oh, maybe it doesn’t involve selling all your belongings, wearing different makeup, coloring your hair a different color, going natural completely, that has nothing to do with being a Christian. Literally nothing to do with being a Christian. So I don’t understand it, why there’s still people out there hating on me for turning to Christ, but then also being like, did you give away all your money? No, I didn’t have money to come back with because I owed so much in taxes, but that’s another story. But anyway, stop, stop. It’s so annoying and it shows your true character. If you’re saying you’re a Christian and then you’re judging me for having some form of money after I did porn, like I’d made money doing porn. So it’s like, listen, if you work a nine to five job and your boss hands you a check for what you made that week or that bi-weekly check, do you turn around and then hand them the check back and they’re like, oh, here’s my money back because this is what says I’m a Christian? No.
Nala claims that people complaining about her still slutty appearance are also wrong. She then proceeds to claim that taxes consumed her wealth. She then concludes with a false equivalency question.
Maintaining sordid wealth is an obvious ethical dilemma for a Christian. The Bible provides no prescription for this dilemma, but Zaccheus is a positive example of giving sinful money away in an act of faith.

The text in Luke does not say Zaccheus gave anything away. It says IF I have…then I will give four times back. He essentially is saying to Jesus look at the books and see if there is any wrong in them so that he can make it right. It does not say he gave away his profits. The people said he was a sinner because he was a tax collector as was Matthew, but Jesus called him to follow him.
I think there is a lot of good this woman can do with her money because of her faith in Christ to help others out of that life. This is not required in Scripture because that would equate to to a work’s salvation.
Using your logic means that everyone who comes to Christ must give away their wealth gained while a sinner and start over. I must disagree with you on this.
In my view, K Wall’s opinion above is the correct one.
There is NO biblical requirement to relinquish money made through sinful actions, when a person becomes a Christian.
As K Wall points out, demanding that sinners relinquish ill-gotten gains when converting to Christianity would equate to salvation through works, rather than salvation through faith.
Jesus says that the ONLY requirement to be a Christian and be saved is to believe in Him as Savior. That’s it. NOTHING else.
As K Wall points out, Zaccheus asked Jesus to look at the books and point out if there was anything wrong, so Zaccheus could make it right.
But even then, Zaccheus’ desire to make it right was a CONSEQUENCE of him believing in Christ, and NOT a requirement to be saved.
Zaccheus was immediately saved the moment he believed in Jesus Christ as Savior.
Returning any money that he stole was NOT necessary for him to obtain salvation.
He simply wanted to do the right thing, because believing in Christ changed him into a good and honest person.
It is also worth noting that Zaccheus and the e-thots (as the article calls them) are NOT equivalent.
While they both obtained money through immoral activities, Zaccheus obtained his wealth by extorting money from taxpayers and/or deceiving taxpayers into paying more than they should have.
In other words, Zaccheus was an extorter and/or a thief.
In contrast, the e-thots can (and in my view should) be seen as victims who were exploited by creepy lustful men.
The e-thots are the internet equivalent of prostitutes: driven to sell their bodies to exploitative men, due to financial desperation.
I view the e-thots largely as victims. Victims of the men who exploited them, and victims of the evil jews who have corrupted modern society with degeneracy and brainwashed many women into thinking that slutty behavior and selling their bodies is OK.
The e-thots are NOT the ultimate guilty party here.

I can’t judge where she’s at spiritually (I know nothing about her but what I read here), but the Zacchaeus argument is weak. He gained some of his wealth by cheating others out of theirs. His “big” sin was financial, and so that’s where his repentance really shone through. Hers apparently was doing porn, which she is no longer doing. Zacchaeus’ resolved to restore what he had stolen with interest, and that would have probably been to specific people. Her situation is totally different. Weak argument, Ray. I generally appreciate your discernment, but sometimes you really miss the mark, usually in some application of Scripture.
You are assuming Zaccheus did steal. I submit he did not want only want led to demonstrate his willingness to be transparent. It is never said of Matthew that he stole from the people, but all tax collectors were guilty by association.
Nowhere in the text does it say he extorted money. He simply wanted Jesus to know he was willing to make things right if he had done anything wrong.
