Recently a social media influence called Patriarchy Hannah was exposed as a complete fraud. This account was a “tradwife” influencer with an alleged tragic backstory and supposedly 14 children. She amassed around 27k followers on Twitter/X and hosted numerous spaces (audio conversations) with other influencers. But nothing about Patriarchy Hannah was real, such as her name, appearance, husband, or children. As a result of this, feminists have taken this exposure to attack patriarchy, blaming certain pastors for a tradwife influencer being fake.
For instance, Examining Moscow wrote:

Also Patriarchal Theobros: **deceived by a single childless con artist who set up an elaborate grifting hoax pretending to be a homesteading mom of 14*
Yet being deceived by Patriarchy Hannah is a matter of buying into her claims not interacting with her influence. After all, in the world of social media, numbers do convey a sense of legitimacy even if achieved through shady pretenses. As someone familiar with the account, I never knew she had all these bold claims about her life. As a disclaimer, I did not follow her, but she did recently follow the Evangelical Dark Web account.

If we ran analytics, what would be the breakdown of her followers by gender? Tradwife content is meant to appeal to women or men fantasizing. It lacks appeal to men already with tradwives.
Moreover, “tradwife influencer” is an oxymoron. Traditional wives are vying for social media followers or simps. They are reveling in internet drama or clout chasing. However, trad Patriarchy Hannah was, she never transcended the oxymoronic nature of her presence.
The fact that a woman lied about being abused, being married, and having many children is not a knock on patriarchy. It doesn’t disprove what Paul said in 1 Timothy 2. Rather it is cause to not buy into emotional sob stories we hear about online, as is the custom of feminists. The patriarchy will continue on without Patriarchy Hannah because she was never a leader in this space.
