Evangelical Dark Web Host To Debate Steve Deace

In a surprising turn of events, I’ve landed myself a slot on the Steve Deace Show. The onboarding process has so far been cordial and prompt, but the circumstances have been less than ideal, as it relates to the reason why.

See, I’ve been a huge fan of Steve Deace since before Covid. However, I do believe there is one blind spot that Deace has, and it’s over Israel and the Jews. I apparently provoked him with the following post.

It’s so strange that Steve Deace would go woke for a group that voted 80% for Kamala Harris and bankrolls the Democrat Party.

This provoked Deace’s response:

That’s the difference between me and you. I don’t see truth via groups or group association, which is a literal form of idolatry. By your standard, we should support open racism against blacks since they vote for Democrats by even higher numbers than Jews.

Truth is standalone in the Biblical worldview, regardless of group identity or association. In fact, you think you’re being “based” with this tripe but in reality you’re making the same argument as the racialists. Group Guilt is just the other side of the identity politics coin as Group Exaltation. You’re closer to BLM than the Bible, which says:

“All of have sinned and fallen short of the glory of the God.”
“God is no respecter of persons.”
“Liars, thieves, fornicators, murderers, homosexuals, idolaters, these do not inherit the kingdom of Heaven. But such as once were you.”

Then there’s an entire New Testament written by Jews who came to Christ, who then went out and preached it to the uncircumcised Gentiles they were previously forbidden to fellowship with — which also kinda runs counter to your paradigm.

I know accounts like yours are used to demagoguing boomers with reflexive dispensationalism that shortsightedly taught them for a generation funding Israel’s military was a worthy substitute to handing their own culture over to the Spirit of the Age, so they’re easy to pin down and corner with your BS — but I’m a bit of a different breed. So if you’re gonna come at me, you gotta come a lot stronger than this bruh. You’re gonna have to do a teensy bit better than engagement farming buzzwords while trying to glean Candace Owens’ leftovers at my expense.

Deace wrongly assumed that I am anonymous for using a brand account. Many such cases. But I’ve never operated anonymously or hidden my views.

Deace’s opening arguments appear to be about collectivism being idolatry, and Israel’s lack of existence as a nation state denoting their powerlessness as a people.

Steve Deace insists that he is not like the boomers I am used to, but this is untrue. Moreover, I am quite familiar with Deace’s arguments, but he is unfamiliar with mine. I’ve never heard my position argued against by Steve Deace, so tomorrow at 1pm EDT, this changes.
