The Presbyterian Church USA is one of the fastest declining denominations in America. But they’ve made fighting Christian Nationalism enough of a priority. According to an FAQ resource they produced, basic Christian beliefs fall under Christian Nationalism.
How does Christian Nationalism undermine the
church and Christianity?
- Conflates religious and political authority in an idolatrous way
- Contradicts the teaching and example of Jesus
- Undermines pluralism and religious liberty
- Belies the New Testament, which offers no biblical precedent for a Christian nation
- Promotes oppression and exclusion of those deemed “unworthy”
- Distorts the mission of the Church from love of neighbor to love of power
- Confuses the kingdom of God with earthly nations and earthly power with spiritual calling
- Reduces Christianity to a narrow cultural identity over the universal tradition Jesus stands for
The PCUSA argues that religious pluralism is a Christian belief.
What qualifies as a Christian Nationalist action?
One component of Christian nationalism is a political
ideology that believes Christianity should have primacy in the public square in order to address so-called immorality. Christian nationalists do not call themselves by that name and do not work from a shared playbook. But the kind of policies that they espouse tell a clear story:• Reinstating prayer in public schools
• Changing school curriculum to include biblical education
• Banning books from libraries if you disagree with the content
• Pushing for anti-immigrant policies that aim to stop demographic changes
• Discriminating against LGBTQ+ people, and more
This is a great advertisement for Christian Nationalism, actually. The PCUSA is unironically embracing sodomy, grooming, and Replacement Theory to own the Christians.

Wide is the gate and broad is the path that leads to destruction, and many (MANY) pass through it. But narrow is the path and small is the gate that leads to eternal life, but few find it. Isn’t it amazing that in their statement, “ Christian nationalism harms people by advancing a narrow, exclusive vision of American identity—Christian, white, conservative, and patriarchal—that marginalizes or actively discriminates against others” they support this very premise of Jesus Christ, except that there is no need to state the color (white) of anyone’s skin. All are welcome, but Few are “The Called.” “Christian, conservative and patriarchal” sounds about right to enter the narrow gate. No excuses needed. Amen, and praise our Lord Jesus Christ for being so clear as to the Way.
PCUSA is a church for Jews larping as Christian, like their posterboy Redeemed Zoomer. That is why they are pro-gay. Not a one of them is a real White.
