Voice of Reason is a prominent Roman Catholic apologist with 165k subs on YouTube. A month ago, Voice of Reason, AKA Alex Jurado, went on a hiatus following emerging allegations of sexting multiple women, including minors. On August 17, Voice of Reason published a lethargically paced 25-minute video apologizing for his actions.
For starters, Alex Jurado categorically denied that he was grooming or interacting with any minors. He calimed that he was exploring options to legally clear his name. And then he admitted to sending women salacious text messages.
What’s disturbing about this is that Jurado did not appear to have the intent to marry any of these women, and would make public comments on Pints With Aquinas about being called to singleness. So the scorned women aired their dirty laundry in public.
Voice of Reason’s video is a test of the waters for his return to public ministry. He apologizes, talks about his self-improvement, and performs a prayer at the end. Sure, he abused his platform for his own masturbatory gain, but he’s in therapy now. Sure, he was asking his groupies to shove their panties in his mouth, but have you heard about his robust prayer life? And were you even aware that he has childhood trauma?
Eastern Orthodox apologist Christian Mario rightly points out the lack of standards that Papists have for these sorts of instances. Christian Mario quipped, “He’s acting like ‘Any indication I can come back in guys and make that Catholic Inc. money? I want some of that Catholic Inc money.'”
Indeed, there is a lot of money to be made on YouTube milking a conversion to Roman Catholicism, as evident by Cameron Bertuzzi. And it does appear that Voice of Reason does not want the money to run dry.
As for the Papists, voices of support poured in from prominent figures, including Pints With Aquinas. This whole story is reminiscent of a Prosperity preacher getting caught in an affair (again).

True repentance is the answer..always.
Its time to deport these aggressive brown papist invaders, even if they are supposed citizens.
