Megyn Kelly has the number one podcast in Conservative Inc. (Apple rankings) and one of the most popular in the country. However, she refuses to denounce Tucker Carlson, and earlier this week, after interviewing Ben Shapiro, spoke to an audience and specified that a specific claim that Shapiro made regarding Candace Owens was a lie (while acknowledging her vast trove of conspiracies regarding Kirk’s assassination. So, Babylon Bee decided that she was a target.
In a headline, Megyn Kelly “Gets Rid Of Old Pager Just To Be Safe,” the Babylon Bee let the mask slip.
After Megyn Kelly called it out, Babylon Bee deleted it, meaning it was not merely an innocent joke.
Undergirding the Babylon Bee’s joke here is that the Israelis actually used pagers to kill people, and in some ways, this post was glorifying that previous action while applying it to someone who won’t play the denouncing game for the Kosher Right.
It’s a joke, not a very funny one, but in the context of the Babylon Bee’s hamfisted approach to comedy these days, many saw this as a veiled threat by the frothing Zionists who run the outlet.
Auron MacIntyre pointed to Kelly, “They want you dead. It’s not complicated.” He later says that the Babylon Bee will use the John Stewart “clown nose on/clown nose off” defense to avoid responsibility here.
If the Babylon Bee was just making an innocent joke, then there was no reason to delete the post.

Considering that Seth Dillon was part of the (failed) Hamptons intervention to turn Charlie back, it sounds like this could have been a veiled threat.
But the $7,000 comment was funny. Although, I would guess the BB receives much more than that from them.
