TPUSA girl bosses sell big lie

Erika Kirk, TPUSA Promote Girlboss Feminism

The messaging of TPUSA has greatly deviated from the late founder Charlie Kirk when it comes to reaching young, Gen Z, women. A recent event at George Washington University highlights that the girl boss direction of TPUSA is a trainwreck of feminism.

A young women asked about how to communicate conservative values to women of Gen Z who are more career-focused than marriage-focused.

Before I met Charlie I Did have my own company, but I built it in a way where once I met Charlie, and then we got married and had a family, it could run on its own so I could focus on being a wife and being with my kids. And that was my priority that was that was everything to me. I don’t think there’s a one-size-fits-all.

You know, there’s single mothers out there. There’s people that have different circumstances. I think you really need to pray about where the Lord is taking you. And if you do have a husband that’s supportive and you are blessed to be a stay at home mom, that’s just as much of a massive role in a job as being a CEO of a Fortune 500 company. You are the guardian of your home and raising your children is the most precious blessing that you could have as a woman.

Erika Kirk compares being a mother to being a CEO as she is now the CEO of TPUSA and not a stay at home mother despite young children and the financial means to be one. Irony aside, she claimed that she founded a company and was able to put it on autopilot to focus on her family. The company Erika Kirk founded was Proclaim Streetwear, a clothing apparel company that appeals to branding to charge high margins. Erika Kirk made it seem like she built a company that could run on its own but the nature of the business is simple, in that it’s simply sales. (Both Nala Ray and Bryce Crawford have created the same type of company.) This was a company that could latch onto the TPUSA empire to make sales, since the infrastructure to manufacture, fulfill, and occasionally design is already in place. What is sold as a sacrifice or forward planning simply isn’t either.

But where Kirk’s answer was insincere, Karoline Leavitt went full girlboss. The White House press secretary answered:

And you should do both because actually being a mom and having a family and having a job, it gives you the greatest perspective. Because you can have the hardest, worst, most stressful day at your job, but when you go home to a beautiful baby and children who are just happy to see you no matter what, it is the most refreshing, beautiful thing and it gives you the best perspective on life. Like nothing else matters except for that.

The 28 year old Leavitt describes doing both gives one the greatest perspective on life. She sells young women on a dream that AI could remove in the upcoming months, and is rather condescending towards stay-at-home mothers.

Charlie Kirk’s Messaging

While Erika Kirk and Karoline Leavitt are selling women a bill of goods, Charlie Kirk’s messaging on this issue, before his untimely assassination, was top notch. Charlie Kirk emphasized that women who become mothers are happier and mentally healthier than women who do not. He emphasized the need to align biology with life goals.

He also saw declining birth rates as a problem and pushed pro-natalist messaging. Although Leavitt did not put off marriage and children, her drive to excel in her career might limit the number of children she does have. Erika Kirk, currently 37, got married late and had her first child at 33 and her second at 35. Neither one of these situations is ideal for either the birth rates of the United States or prescribable models for young women to follow.

TPUSA is not going to defeat feminism with second-wave feminism. It will instead squander its ability to reach young women.
