Jack Hibbs comes after me

Jack Hibbs Takes The L

On August 8th, I received a notification that YouTube had removed one of my videos: Jack Hibbs vs Reformed Theology, originally published on August 27th, 2025, because a copyright strike had been filed against it. The removal request cited Real Life with Jack Hibbs and the email address “mail@jackhibbs.com” as the party that filed the DMCA takedown.

Evangelical Dark Web is no stranger to people using fraudulent DMCA copyright strikes against us. Brent Leatherwood’s church filed a DMCA takedown request for reporting on their female pastors. Jonathan Howe filed a fraudulent copyright claim for our livestream coverage of the 2026 Southern Baptist Convention. Evangelical Dark Web has emerged victorious every single time because we are strict adherents to fair use doctrine which allows us to critique or report on copyrighted material.

And now, Jack Hibbs adds his name to the defeated ranks for fraudulent copyright strikes. This is a victory not only for us personally here at EVangelical Dark Web but also for independent Christian media and their right to freely critique and apply discernment to public teaching of various pastors.

  1. There is just way too many pop up distractions going on on this website. I can hardly read your articles.
