The Real Sin Of Redeemed Zoomer

Redeemed Zoomer, is a YouTuber with 721K subs and has been the best salesman for the Reconquista cause. But on Sunday, it was announced that he resigned as vice president of the Presbyterians for the Kingdom, a niche PCUSA faction, amid a Holocaust joke he made. Richard Ackerman is ethnically Jewish. Additionally, Ackerman put out an 8 minute apology video announcing a fake social media fast and gave his audience a struggle session over fake sins. His real sin was not to be mentioned.

Ackerman used therapeutic language to describe how he makes edgy jokes as a coping mechanism for stress. This stress was caused by him taking fire from all sides, a phenomenon previously discussed. It is true that his speech is untame, belligerent, and sinful, but the root of his sin is not his immaturity. It’s his cause.

The Reconquista has made Redeemed Zoomer embrace theological liberalism and social liberalism, and made him divisive towards denominations he was generally supportive of a mere two years ago. As recently highlighted, he spoke favorably of the OPC in 2024, only to label the more faithful denomination schismatic in 2026. He would debate Doug Wilson on the CREC and even win.

Being a media firebrand is who he is, and movements need people like that. His platform and his willingness to engage in debate bro culture have made him the ideal salesman for the Reconquista. And he has sold many on his vision. Ackerman’s talents are wasted. A great salesman selling a faulty product is still a con artist. No matter how the salesman pitches the snake oil, he’s still leading people astray. There is not an honorable way to be a con artist. Nor is there an honorable way for Redeemed Zomer to lead Reconquista.

The Reconquista, on the other hand, does not want to succeed. Like the benching of Matt Chandler, they make up sins like Holocaust jokes to sideline their leaders in order to cater to a longhouse. This is not a serious movement. And any movement that demotes people for off-color jokes is automatically effeminate, therefore evil. 

Redeemed Zoomer concludes his struggle session by stating that he will fight racism, antisemitism, and be a hall monitor for online discourse. He states that he will go on a social media fast while also stating that he will still produce and publish content for his channel. Ackerman expresses a desire to be a PCUSA elder one day, and has bought into living an effeminate life much like his pastor has.

Any elder “furious” over a Holocaust joke but passive about lesbian pastors does not care about biblical priorities. Redeemed Zoomer is being discipled to become a lesbian pastor. That is his trajectory. This is also the danger of the Reconquista movement and why it must be mocked and warned against so that sheep are not being led by the people leading Redeemed Zoomer astray.
