Deconstruction Influencer Claims To Be Traumatize From Being Told Not To Have Premarital Sex

Every now and then it becomes painfully clear that people who deconstruct their faith do so out of developing an entire worldview around their genitals, and Mason Mennenga is no exception. Mennenga is the host of the Black Sheep Podcast and A People’s Theology podcast and his mantra is “Liberation theology in the streets, process theology in the sheets.”

But wait there’s more.

A standard Christian upbringing is described, not even the oh so dreaded purity culture that sexual deviants hate so much. Joshua Harris peddled his deconstruction with the same mentality.

While abstaining from sex can be really hard sometimes, it’s far from a traumatic experience, and this is just another overuse of trauma (and abuse) in out culture.
