A news story many Christians would be shocked to hear is that Logos Software has been selling erotic literature on their bookstore, Faithlife. Logos Bible Software is a popular software for sermon preparation and Bible study. Their owners, Faithlife have integrated the Bible study software with an online bookstore containing over one hundred thousand books.
In a story broken by Protestia, Faithlife and Logos also sell hardcore erotica, a pornographic genre. We recommend reading their report.
Analysis
A company selling this many books likely did not vet them all leading to this oversight. Yet what makes this story worse is that before going to the media, a Christian went to their customer service first and his concerns went unheeded. Now Faithlife has reproached themselves.
One Response
This is good to know. I sat in on a webinar this week and they said they actually have over 200,000 books in their system. I guess my question is how did this discovery happen? And why is it that you never acknowledge comments on your blog? It’s not that there are ton of people who comment.
