JD Vance is a tech investor, author of the successful book Hillbilly Elegy which was turned into an acclaimed movie starring Amy Adams. JD Vance is seen as a populace and now also a successor to Trump’s agenda, despite previously being a NeverTrumper.
Donald Trump’s pick was floated for days prior to the official announcement. Other names on the shortlist included Doug Burgum, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, and Tulsi Gabbard, despite being a socialist. Ben Carson was connected to the famous Project 2025, however JD Vance would emerge as the pick in an otherwise uninspiring field of choices.

As far as unifying picks, there are few better options on the table and even fewer that don’t invite constitutional concerns.
