CrossPolitic, Popsicle Stands, And Sychophancy

Earlier this week, I described the Moscow Mood as being sycophantic towards Doug Wilson, best exemplified by the softball interview that was given to him by CrossPolitic, a podcast hosted by Toby Sumpter, David Shannon (Chocolate Knox), and Gabe Rench (Waterboy), who are all Moscow, Idaho.

For some odd reason, CrossPolitic thought it a bright idea to clip Doug Wilson telling an unfunny joke about opponents of the Antioch Declaration being unable to run a popsicle stand. The camera pans to Toby Sumpter who diligently musters a laugh for the occasion. It was an example of real life imitating art and it called for a meme video to be made.

There’s a famous scene in The Sopranos, where Tony tells a bad joke and all but one person laughs out of respect or fear. Doug Wilson is Tony Soprano making fun of the opposition to the Antioch Declaration and the comment section is the man unamused by corny jokes. CrossPolitic got dragged in their comment section.

Anyway, enjoy the meme video.
