Elon Musk vs. MAGA: Why H-1B Visas are Evil

Recently, Elon Musk ignited a controversy, not against leftist factions or with a certain ethno-religious group, but against the MAGA movement. In many ways, Elon Musk can be credited with the 2024 victory of Donald Trump, both through his political contributions and through his ownership of Twitter/X allowing conservative narratives to become mainstream, most notably the pet-eating Haitians in Springfield, OH.

The alliance with Silicon Valley was born out of a vibe shift, where many in Silicon Valley sought more competent governance and deregulation. At the center of this shift was longtime donor Peter Thiel, founder of PayPal, who is connected to numerous other billionaires in tech, like Musk and Zuckerberg, which has been called the PayPal Mafia. This would also include Vivek Ramaswamy and JD Vance. They helped Trump finance his campaign and were awarded seats at the table. Elon Musk is being called the Co-President and even Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, donated to Trump’s inauguration as tribute to the incoming regime. Many in tech rightly understood that Kamala was bad for business. Musk was looking at federal investigations that have encumbered his ambitions, so the return of Trump is good for him personally.

Yet there was always an obvious divide between MAGA and Elon Musk, and that was on the issue of legal immigration. Whereas both factions were against the mass illegal immigration being facilitated by the Biden Administration and various NGOs, like HIAS, Musk is an adamant supporter of legal immigration via the H-1B visa program.

Musk’s arguments center around the demand for high-skilled tech workers and he would argue America does not produce enough workers to fill these roles. Musk has touted the achievements of immigrants in America, including how they earn more on average than Whites. This is fallacious since it is comparing immigrants who might live in higher-income areas with the totality of America. Others have parroted Musk that the principles of Meritocracy dictate that H-1B visas are necessary and that Americans are at fault for lacking the skills. As the 2023 Bloomberg study proved, Fortune 100 companies hired 94% non-white workers, indicating that these major corporations are pursuing DEI hiring practices at the expense of Heritage Americans.

Despite owning the platform, Elon Musk is not immune to ratios, and the recent days have been a heated dialogue against H-1B immigration, with Indians being the primary target. In an economy where “learning to code” was touted as the answer by the Mike Bloomberg’s of the world, tech companies are known for laying off employees and replacing them with H-1B workers, and this would include Tech giants like Amazon, META (Facebook), and Alphabet (Google). In 2024 alone, 150K workers were laid off in Tech with the biggest calculations deriving from Silicon Valley. Those same companies might turn around and sponsor cheaper and more compliant Indian laborers to replace the workers they just laid off. Compounding the problem in Tech is the difficult labor market in which Americans who go to university for the requisite degrees Elon Musk is seeking cannot find jobs in these same companies that hire foreigners. The experiences of tech workers cannot be discounted. Erik Prince, founder of Blackwater, reposted a story of a tech worker who had entrepreneurial experience that, after being laid off, became a solo stock trader because he could not receive a look from tech companies despite his resume. There are countless stories that exist where Americans are forced to struggle in an industry increasingly dominated by foreigners.

In particular, Indians have a high in-group preference, which means they will higher other Indians over Americans. Factors like these push Americans who otherwise have the requisite degrees for entry-level jobs out of the industry. Moreover, the ability of companies to exploit loopholes depresses domestic wages. This is before analyzing the quality of the labor. Of all men, Elon Musk should know that reducing the Twitter/X labor force by 75% did not negatively affect the product, so in tech, clearly quality is superior to quantity in labor demands.

Analysis

This fight between Elon Musk and MAGA is a good thing. Those with eyes to see knew this fight would transpire and have thus far been successful in ratioing Elon Musk on his own platform. MAGA did not sell its soul to Musk, and if any in the Trump camp are observing, they would see a base that is unhappy with Musk.

While Trump has signaled support for these H-1B visas, it is not one of his dogmatic positions. In his first term, Trump reduced H-1B visa abuse while significantly curtailing F1 student visas. The latter is significant as it preemptively denies foreign students access to universities where they would compete directly with Americans in the job market upon graduation. With a better team for his second term, men like Stephen Miller and Tom Homan will be hardliners whose role in the administration directly deals with immigration. Currently, the leftist media is anticipating a clampdown on legal immigration in the upcoming Trump Administration, which is why the Biden Administration is changing the rules on its way out. If anything, Elon Musk is likely fighting against the narrative, not driving it. He is playing defense, not offense.

The importation of foreign workers is averse to improving the domestic birthrates that Musk is concerned with, as income and housing are headwinds toward birthrates. Giving foreigners domestic jobs is but another means of disenfranchising Americans from their own nation. In The Age of Entitlement, Christopher Caldwell explains that immigration is just a complex wealth transfer wherein the economic gains go to the immigrants at the expense of the natives. Ultimately, the use of immigration and the protections given to them by the Civil Rights Act came at the expense of domestic workers. Allowing foreigners to “eat the fruit of your land and the produce of your labor” is just another form of oppression that Scripture describes to be a curse.

Conclusion

The desire to import foreign workers because “Americans aren’t good enough” is born out of hatred. Just as outsourcing is motivated by greed, so too is importing foreigners to do jobs that Americans could do if given the chance. Ultimately, mass immigration is a part of the Anti-White agenda, and the Great Replacement does not care whether it achieves its goals through illegal immigration or legal immigration because they are both the same. Importing a bunch of third-world Indians will bring their Hinduism to America which then erects their aesthetically abhorrent idols on American soil. It will terraform America into the third world all the same as millions of illegals.

It is completely understandable that Elon Musk wants foreign talent to hasten the achievement of his various goals. Musk wants to put Mankind on Mars, so he believes immigrant labor will achieve this on his timetable. However, America never needed Indians to get to the Moon, nor was DEI required for the Apollo missions. Rather, only Heritage Americans were necessary for what was Mankind’s greatest achievement.
