Report: Mike Bickle Sexually Harassed 17 Women

The slow-to-arrive report on Mike Bickle has finally been released, in part, over a year after Bickle was removed from the International House of Prayer. The report details that Mike Bickle sexually abused or harassed 17 women. Mike Bickle was an instrumental cornerstone in the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) movement which elevates teachers to Apostles. The International House of Prayer was one of the most influential organizations in this movement.

The report was published by Firefly which does not begin its report exuding confidence in the process.

The credibility of this report is founded on the collective and corroborating testimony of the experiences of the victims and witnesses. It is not reliant on any single experience or victim, but rather on the consistent and overlapping accounts that paint a comprehensive picture of the systemic issues and misconduct within IHOPKC. This approach ensures that no single testimony is isolated, but instead, is part of a larger narrative that illustrates the extent and severity of the issues. This collective testimony strengthens the report’s validity and highlights the urgent need to address the identified problems and implement changes to create a safer and more supportive environment.

The report then lambasted Bickle for alleged grooming, detailing his interactions with minors in trusted families. He is then accused of grooming for offering wine to young women while in Paris on a mission trip.

BICKLE was a master at the casual touch of a victim that appeared harmless, such as hugging, wrestling, kissing, choking, touching legs, touching thighs, and tickling. BICKLE would then escalate his touching to be increasingly more sexual with certain victims.

Witnesses would often see Bickle, during church services and prayer meetings, grab girls by their throats, kiss them on their faces, and ruffle their hair. This behavior, masked as innocent affection, was a calculated tactic to desensitize his victims to physical contact, gradually pushing boundaries until they were normalized.

Then Mike Bickle is accused of exposing himself to minors.

During our investigation, (IS) Tammy Woods, (IS) Deborah Perkins, and IS #4 reported observing BICKLE in a state of undress, with an erection. Each encounter appeared to be deliberate and targeted towards the girls.

This indecent exposure, kissing, and fondling are the height of Bickle’s misdeeds detailed in the report. Rape allegations are redacted as the report is too cowardly to spell out the men that are accused of high crimes.

As previously reported, Mike Bickle used false prophecy regarding his wife to manipulate women.

BICKLE has been accused of engaging in egregious spiritual, emotional, and sexual abuse over decades. He allegedly groomed and fostered inappropriate relationships with women, using the concept of an “apostolic chariot-vision calling” to create an intoxicating partner narrative. BICKLE reportedly shared prophetic words with (IS) Tammy Woods and (IS) Deborah Perkins, claiming that the Lord had shown him that Diane (BICKLE’S wife) was going to die and that they would be in the chariot with him. This narrative expanded his influence among the women involved.

The report identifies four men in leadership positions at IHOP—Lenny LaGuardia, David Sliker, Stuart Greaves, and Isaac Bennett—who either covered up, dismissed, or downplayed the sexual abuse allegations. Ironically, these are the same four men who made the initial announcement regarding the accusations against Bickle, expressing their heartbreak over the situation, despite reportedly having frequently heard firsthand accounts of inappropriate behavior from him.

Multiple rape allegations are made. One stemming from the 1980s against an eventual IHOP staffer. One homosexual rape allegation against ASM #2 was deliberately not pursued by prosecutors, according to the report. Another rape allegation with no date was not believed by IHOP leadership, who denied that the event would be characterized as rape. This was not subsequently reported to law enforcement. What’s interesting is that Firefly did not use “allegedly” in this instance but did for the homosexual case that was reported to the police.

It’s worth noting that most states do not have a statute of limitations for rape.

Conclusions

Narpostles, like Mike Bickle and his associates, operate in Clown World Evangelicalism where there are no standards for ministry. Thus fornication, false prophecy, and cultish devotion are par for the course. Mike Bickle was a creep with uncontrolled lust, and his counterparts at IHOP did not care.
