As the second Trump Administration targets NGOs sucking at federal funds, most notably through USAID, the reaction of the major Evangelical institutions has doubtless vindicated Megan Basham, author of Shepherds for Sale. One of those prominent institutions is Christianity Today, which has notoriously pushed liberalism in the church. Throughout the years, Christianity Today has endorsed gay “marriage,” supported mass immigration, opposed the 2024 Trump campaign, promoted public schooling against homeschooling, supported the healthcare grifting PREPFAR HIV/AIDS program, promoted Side B theology, and countless other pieces of liberalism.
Lo and behold, it turns out that Christianity Today was receiving government funds. Recently, Data Republican images have been circulating over various charities with an emphasis on how much money they receive from the government.

In this case, Christianity Today received $1,835,073 in 2023, accounting for 18.94% of revenues. Doubtless, that money had a purpose, whether it be for supporting international publications, but nowhere does their Form 990 expressly make clear where that grant could have been spent, as Christianity Today is a media company operating as a nonprofit. Even their international expenses are under $300K. Much of their expenses match that of any business: salaries, printing, advertising, etc. Yet it is clear that those at the top benefit from lucrative compensation.

As can be seen, they pay their management quite well. The CEO, Timothy Dalrymple received $277K in compensation while the infamous Russell Moore received $190K. Total compensation for their officers was $996,693 while total salaries for other employees amounted to $5,566,355 before benefits. For a media company, these salaries would be outrageous, but since they raise revenue as a nonprofit, they can afford this lucrative payroll.

On the Form 990, which was signed by Dalrymple in November of 2024, it lists a mortgage lone issued by Christianity Today to Dalrymple for $150K with $130K outstanding. Basically, he got the company to issue him a mortgage loan at presumably below-market rates as a perk of being the CEO. Doubtless, he’s saving thousands as he would not be borrowing from the company if the terms were less favorable than the current mortgage rates. While the details of the property itself are unstated, it is a peculiarity and denotes the insider dealing that happens at Christianity Today. They also possess over $3.8 million in market securities.

The revenue section tells the story: Christianity Today service revenue (subscriptions) decreased by about $700K but their Contributions and Grants increased by over $4 million, meaning they are more reliant upon government grants and donations than they were before. Fewer people are buying the content, but more money is flowing into the operations, with revenue surpassing $18 million.
As a word of caution, there is a “Charity Graph” feature on Data Republican which will “link” Christianity Today to numerous funds, like Fidelity, Vanguard, Rockefeller Foundation, and even the Servant Foundation, which funded the He Gets Us Campaign. These companies offer a service called Donor Active Fund (DAF) which allows individuals to set up investment accounts which they then issue charitable donations through. This means that while the receipts from the various funds can be tracked, the number of donors is not verifiable. Ultimately, this is an abuse of the tax code as appreciated capital can be used for tax deductions while the rich manipulate charitable deductions to avoid paying taxes.
Conclusion
If just reliant on subscriptions like a normal media company, Christianity Today would plummet under its massive payroll, but because they are increasingly reliant on contributions, they are able to sustain their operations and maintain the lucrative compensation for wicked men like Russell Moore. Doubtless, with Uncle Sam’s money, there were strings attached, and it is unsurprising that Compromise Today would take government money while peddling regime-friendly narratives. Truly they were Shepherds for Sale.

Excellent reporting!!!!
Most likely, ALL of the so-called “Christian” organizations that promote subversive anti-White propaganda under the guise of (fake) “Christianity” are funded by either the (((government))) or by (((subversive organizations))) or jewish-supremacists such as george soros.
This includes organizations such as Protestia, Doug Wilson’s CREC, Joe Boot’s Ezra Institute, the Southern Baptist Convention (more like the jewish bootlickers’ convention), First Things, Providence Magazine, “Christianity” Today, “Christian” Post, various seminaries and “Christian” theological institutes, and MANY others.
As the saying goes, “follow the money.”
I am glad that the nefarious anti-White activities funded by (((USAID))) are finally being exposed.
But (((USAID))) is only the tip of the iceberg.
It is highly likely that ALL of the so-called “Christian” organizations that promote race-mixing, miscegenation, zionism, jew worship, anti-racism, and other cultural marxist degeneracy, are being funded by the jews, in exchange for using religion to gaslight, deceive, and manipulate White Christians into embracing racial suicide and White genocide.
Traitors such as Doug Wilson, Owen Strachan, the pedophile Mike Bickle, Russell Moore, the depraved monster demon Joel Berry, Joe Boot, Ed Stetzer, Mark Tooley, David Platt, the pedophile Robert Morris, and countless others are obedient sock puppets of the evil jews.
The jewish paymasters are the ones pulling the strings of these so-called “Christian” influencers.
Instead of being good shepherds, these evil cuckvangelical traitors collude with the (((wolves))) to destroy the Christian flock, and lead the flock to the (((slaughterhouse))), in exchange for jewish shekels.
After the America First movement wins power, ALL of the “Christian” influencers who have expressed anti-White views, will be arrested and put on trial for subversion, treason, and incitement of genocide.
I was wandering when this would come out. Its so obvious by how they went so Left so fast.
