Corporate America Recedes From Pride Month While Sports Double Down

In another year where corporate America seems to be receding in its support for degeneracy, there is one major bastion keeping abhorrent traditions alive. As Auron MacIntyre noted, “Major development that many corporations bailed out of pride month this year but it’s the professional sports teams that seem most dedicated to keeping it going.”

Indeed, while the Texas Rangers remain the only Major League Baseball team that is not hosting a “Pride Night”, the MLB was perhaps the most notorious celebration of buggery on social media. The NFL, likewise, promoted the same messaging.

Below is a list of notable companies that celebrated Pride Month in 2024 but have either confirmed or are reported to have reduced or eliminated their public Pride engagements in 2025, based on available information:

Target: In 2024, Target offered Pride merchandise in select stores and online, and supported local Pride events in Minneapolis and other areas. However, in 2025, Target withdrew from sponsoring the Twin Cities Pride parade and festival, citing its rollback of DEI initiatives. The company is also reported to have scaled back its Pride merchandise to a limited selection in select stores, focusing on adult apparel and home goods, following significant backlash in 2023 and 2024.

Anheuser-Busch (Budweiser, Beck’s): Anheuser-Busch was a long-time sponsor of Pride events, including a 30-year partnership with St. Louis PrideFest and support for San Francisco Pride in 2024. In 2025, the company pulled funding from both St. Louis PrideFest ($150,000 shortfall) and San Francisco Pride (part of a $300,000 shortfall), following the 2023 backlash over its Bud Light campaign with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Comcast/Xfinity: Comcast sponsored San Francisco Pride and other California Pride events in 2024. In 2025, it withdrew sponsorship from San Francisco Pride (contributing to a $300,000 shortfall) and WorldPride in Washington, D.C., though it continues to support smaller Pride events like Silicon Valley Pride and Oakland Pride.

Diageo (Guinness, Smirnoff): Diageo supported San Francisco Pride in 2024 but withdrew its sponsorship in 2025, contributing to the event’s $300,000 budget shortfall.

Meta: Meta was a previous sponsor of San Francisco Pride in 2024 but ended its relationship in 2025, partly due to changes in its fact-checking policies and staff turnover. The company has shifted to allowing local employee resource groups to make Pride sponsorship decisions.

Nissan: Nissan sponsored NYC Pride in previous years, including 2024, but pulled out of NYC Pride sponsorship in 2025, citing a review of marketing and sales spending.

Mastercard: Mastercard was a sponsor of NYC Pride in 2024 but did not renew its corporate sponsorship for 2025, amid concerns over DEI backlash.

PepsiCo: PepsiCo supported NYC Pride in 2024 but withdrew sponsorship for 2025, aligning with a broader corporate retreat from DEI initiatives.

Citi: Citi was a sponsor of NYC Pride in 2024 but pulled out in 2025, contributing to a reported $750,000 shortfall for the event.

Booz Allen Hamilton: This company sponsored WorldPride in Washington, D.C., in 2024 but withdrew support in 2025, citing concerns over federal investigations related to DEI initiatives.

Deloitte: Deloitte supported WorldPride in Washington, D.C., in 2024 but pulled sponsorship in 2025, aligning with a trend among federal contractors reducing external Pride engagements.

Walmart: In 2024, Walmart promoted a Pride collection on social media and in stores. In 2025, Walmart is reported to have scaled back its Pride engagement, with no significant Pride-related social media activity or sponsorships noted, possibly due to backlash fears following the Target and Bud Light controversies.

Nike: Nike had a prominent “Be True” Pride collection in 2024, but in 2025, it has not released a new Pride collection and has refrained from posting about Pride Month on social media, following backlash in 2023 over a campaign featuring Dylan Mulvaney.

The North Face: The North Face ran a “Summer of Pride” event series and Pride collection in 2024, but in 2025, it did not announce a similar event or release a Pride collection, and its social media presence for Pride was absent.

Former NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant ripped the NFL for its gayness.

It’s not that corporate America is on our side now, but it does appear that the movement has peaked and pressure is now being applied against wokeness such that publicly supporting homosexuality comes with increased costs.

  1. The only men who watch football are those who lust after black cock, so it makes sense for sportsball to doubledown.
