Babylon Bee Attempts To Save Face After Deleting Megyn Kelly Joke

On Friday, the Babylon Bee attacked Megyn Kelly with a headline that implied she was steeped in anti-Israel conspiracies. This followed Kelly calling out a specific lie of Ben Shapiro and not denouncing Tucker Carlson for having interviewed Nick Fuentes. Now the Babylon Bee is explaining their decision.

The post at the expense of Megyn Kelly was viewed by many an a veiled threat. This could be a stretch, but it was definitely a message.

Seth Dillon states:

I like Megyn Kelly. I deleted the joke not because it was twisted maliciously into a threat, but because was uncharitable to her. We’ll never do anything to appease the humorless woke right mob. It’s a shame, too, because our contract says we have to refund the $7,000.

Seth Dillon claims that the joke was uncharitable; therefore, he deleted it. But the nature of satire is not to be charitable towards the subject matter. The Babylon Bee certainly isn’t, towards the people that they dislike. The nature of satire is to use absurdist humor for social commentary.

But this does showcase the power of Megyn Kelly. She is the queen of Conservative Inc. The Babylon Bee took a swing at her and missed because she would not declare for the Kosher Right, in the ongoing debate.
