The Unexpected Death of Voddie Baucham

The unexpected death of Voddie Baucham is the end of a most valued soldier in Christ’s army. Baucham was set to lead an upstart seminary and be more of an impact in the American church after spending years in Africa, but alas the leadership void widens.

JD Greear’s Villainy Exposed

The biggest Southern Baptist story was reminiscent of Ahab and Nabal, whereby JD Greear conspired with the corrupt elders of Faith Baptist Church Knightdale to run the church into bankruptcy so that Summit Church may acquire multimillion dollar assets for pennies on the dollar. This story revealed the petty villainy of JD Greear who gave up the fight so as not to be deposed in court. Praise God for the faithful men and women who fought to save their church.

Bro Revival Shines In Podcast Space, Growing Discontentment

2025 began with multiple Joe Rogan interviews, Wes Huff and Mel Gibson, among others, that shared the gospel. Increasingly the revival is being statistically documented. However, the bifurcation between young men and women appears to still be widening, and the Big Eva response appears to be to adopt, rather than challenge, feminist narratives. Moreover, the Bro Revival is widespread enough to attract even false high profile converts.

Jewish Influence In The Church Shaken

With the Bro Revival and increased scrutiny on America’s foreign policy relationship with Israel, it is clear that dispensationalism as a theology has fallen and cannot get up. To make matters worse Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has openly admitted to targeting American Evangelicals with influence operations, and disclosed FARA records reveal the Israeli government’s extensive influence operation in the American church. The battle between faithful Christians and neo-Judaizers is intensifying.

Persecution Of Nigerian Christians

The plight of Nigerian Christians is not a new story, but this story went from being obscure to mainstream in the church in 2025. The climax of this story in 2025 occurred on Christmas day when President Trump announced that he had ordered military strikes on Islamic terrorists in Nigeria responsible for attacking Christians.

Global Anglican Church Rejects Church of England Primacy

The elevation of a woman to the Archbishop of Canterbury was a crossing of the Rubicon moment for the Anglican Church. The Global Anglican Futures Conference, a coalition of faithful Anglicans, declared their primacy in Anglicanism, displacing the Church of England in its first-among-equals status. This is a huge step in rescuing the Anglican tradition that took the gospel to the literal four corners of the globe.

Open Borders Profiteers vs The Church

American Evangelicals voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump in 2024. But that would not stop major institutions like World Relief, Catholic Charities, Lutheran Immigrant and Refugee Services, the Southern Baptist Convention, and others from rushing to defend their open borders profiteering operations that resettle migrants in the United States.

Death of John MacArthur

John MacAuther was a giant of the faith in Evangelicalism. Perhaps the biggest Evangelical figure alive, a pope to many, his death comes after a faithful life lived and leaves no successor to his legacy, not that one is needed.

New American Pope

Pope Francis died in 2025 and was replaced by Pope Leo, the first ever American Pope. Both are open borders communists, so the new Pope is just like the old Pope.

The Murder of Charlie Kirk

The assassination of Charlie Kirk is the biggest story of 2025, and it is also a story of a Christian being martyred for his faith. His death left a huge hole in the American right wing, as Charlie Kirk was someone who was a unifier behind the scenes. His death has led to all sorts of chaos, as Turning Point USA becomes a battleground, even more than it was before.
