With the preliminary hearing of Tyler Robinson underway for the death of Charlie Kirk, right wing influencers are suddenly pouncing on Candace Owens. And in this moment, the prominence of Candace Owens is making its last stand. In mere days of introducing evidence to establish probable cause for a premeditated murder, the conspiracy theories of Candace Owens have been blown open. And the right is seizing the moment.
Evidence Brought Before Trial
In the third and fourth days of the preliminary hearing, DNA evidence of Tyler Robinson was shown to be on the towel wrapped around the gun and the screwdriver used to assemble the gun on site. DNA evidence is generally damning in any murder trial, especially on or around the murder weapon.
Moreover, Candace Owens has claimed that Tyler Robinson was not on campus that day, a claim thoroughly debunked on multiple videos depicting Tyler Robinson on campus, even to case the location.
Perhaps the most famous theory is the exploding microphone, inspired by Israeli exploding pagers, as an alternative to a gunshot. This was entirely disproven as the prosecution presented the bullet and its fragments and presented testimony that it was .30-06. The largest fragment was clearly a bullet and the smaller fragments stemmed from the soft tip of the round. Ian Carroll, a close ally of Candace Owens, has claimed that full metal jacket was used to argue that the bullet should have had an exit wound and additional damage. But alas, the ultra-common soft tip for .30-06 was used. Just like the liberal media, these people know little about firearms if they cannot distinguish between full metal jacket and less penetrative rounds.Â
And perhaps the cherry on the gay cake was Tyler Robinson’s lover, Lance Twigg, testifying against him. Although on video and not available for cross-examination (reminder: the cross-examination would have to undermine probable cause, not establish reasonable doubt), Twigg testified that Tyler Robinson had left a note and confessed to him via text and in person. He also testified that he advised Robinson on using a Dremel to engrave the bullet casings within a month of Kirk’s death.
Candace Owens has lashed out at the proceedings:
Lance Twiggs says he never heard Tyler talk about Charlie Kirk or LGBTQ issues. But we’re supposed to believe he jumped up one day, and decided to try on an assassination over those exact issues after never committing any crimes in his life. I cannot bear the Fed slop any longer.
But it’s not uncommon for aspiring criminals not to disclose their homicidal intentions to their lovers, and Robinson’s position on gay issues was firmly established with Twigg.
Unsustainable Influencer Models
There are unsustainable business models, and there are unsustainable influencer models, and Candace has risen high with the latter. Attention-seeking influencers must escalate their actions in order to sustain the level of attention they are receiving. Many influencers have flamed out doing this, a recent example being Clavicular, the looksmaxer.
Candace Owens has come a long way, specifically since challenging the Daily Wire’s favorite vaccine. The death of Charlie Kirk accelerated her to new heights as she monetized her soured friendship with Kirk by peddling extravagant international conspiracies about the assassination.
But like all conspiracy slop, there comes a point of no return for credibility. In 2017, the Qanon conspiracy arose among online boomers who were convinced that Trump Administration insider was leaking intelligence “drops” on a blog. The Q drops were often vague, nonfalsifiable, and raised people’s hopes about sealed indictments. But following the 2020 election and subsequently, January 6, it was clear the entire thing was a scam from the start, something Jack Posobiec pointed out early on while at One America News.
Candace Owens has captured the Qanon energy, and if I had to bet, much of the same audience. And the Tyler Robinson trial is her J6.
Hyperspritualizing
People on the right, especially in Christian circles, are running the narrative that Owens is demonically possessed. And while schizophrenia might probably be demonic possession, that’s not Candace Owens. Candace Owens is either retarded, a psychopath, or evil. And I’m going with all three.
She’s never been intelligent, except by comparison to other tokens of the industry, but there is a level of psychopathic shamelessness with her constant escalations for clicks.
The hyperspiritualizing of Candace Owens paints the founder of Social Autopsy as someone who otherwise had good instincts, subdued by supernatural forces. This is the comfortable answer for those in the industry who propped her up for years because she was Black, a woman, and repeating other people’s talking points.
Conclusion
As it stands now, I see little possibility of Candace Owens pulling a rabbit out of the hat to escape the coming guilty verdict and the credibility hit that is coming her way. The future of Owens appears to be a lolcow, forever milked in her comment section for being so outrageously wrong about Kirk’s death for clicks, a point of derision, doomed to embrace a pariah persona with whatever audience remains.

She is clearly not retarded. She is also not just someone who repeats something that others says, a false charge against Clarence Thomas for decades. Owens has plenty of her own thoughts. It is just that those thoughts are horrible. Is she evil? Well it is fascinating that conservatives are just now noticing that Owens is evil now. Why didn’t conservatives come to that conclusion when Owens defended the men who chased down and murdered Ahmaud Arbery – never armed, never committed violence or posed a threat to anyone in any sense during the incident and was shot in the back while desperately trying to run away – over what was at the very most a very minor trespassing incident where the maximum penalty would have been a fine of a few dollars? She thought that she could turn Arbery into Trayvon Martin – who attacked George Zimmerman and was on top of him smashing his head into the concrete screaming about his intent to murder Zimmerman when Zimmerman finally reluctantly shot him to save his own life – but it didn’t go well. That is just one of her many outrages. But as nearly all of her outrages were against people that conservatives are fine with outrages being committed against, they were fine with her until recently.
Is she schizophrenic? Nope. Everything that she says is premeditated with a clear strategy behind it. She is no Kanye West, who has shown evidence of bipolar disorder for decades. Is she a psychopath? Quite possibly. But denying that mental illness is caused by demons is only something that a modern Reformed would do. Martin Luther, John Bunyan and our other forefathers would have had no problem calling out demonic activity for what it is. Recall that the late John MacArthur absolutely attributed mental illness to demons. However, Owens’ actions are not rational. She could have had an easy meal ticket as an influencer for the rest of her life. But she let her petty grudges against Kirk and TPUSA percolate into a seething bitterness which has caused her to irrationally destroy her career. It reminds me of how King Saul was destroyed by paranoia and bitterness. And what was it that troubled King Saul again? Exactly.

Wow, the irony. This comment reveals your own ignorance about firearms and ammo or real world effects of a large caliber round on the neck of a human. Carroll was trying to be fair that there just might be a plausible argument of a .30-06 if it was a full metal jacketed bullet that didn’t deposit the energy of the round into the flesh, and even this is highly problematic with zero exit wound. But if it’s not a full metal jacket and was a normal soft-tipped lead bullet, that just means that there is zero chance that this is the actual weapon that killed Kirk or that any of this is not manufactured evidence. You apparently don’t seem to understand the problem if the official argument is a soft-tipped .30-06 round. An actual soft tip bullet from such a large caliber would have exploded the neck. The back side flesh blowout would have been all over everything. If you deny this, then you really know nothing about ballistics or firearms or real world effects. All of us hunters know what that kind of round does to soft flesh when the energy is deposited into the body. If there are fragments, that means the energy went INTO the body. Get it? But that’s not what we saw on video. Also, that the sound we heard on video was a not a big bore gun. If it was a firearm, it was a very low caliber round that was actually very near the stage, given that there was no time lag on the videos near the stage. I own two .30-06 rifles, one of which is a WWII style Mauser rifle. That alleged weapon “found” at the campus has a fixed mounted scope. You can’t just easily assemble and disassemble this weapon as is alleged, and if that is what is alleged, it is impossible to expect it to be even remotely accurate.
This all has nothing to do with whether one loves, hates or could care less about Candace Owens. I could care less about her or her agendas. It’s not about her and whether any or all of her theories ends up being correct as to who was involved. It’s about seeing through obvious lies being given to us by the establishment and which clearly has connections to the Israelis (yet again). That requires asking hard questions and being willing to consider that people close to Kirk were involved in the murder. This was clearly a coordinated effort that was very sophisticated.
You seem to have an agenda to defend the lone gunman nonsense, when all of the evidence points to the contrary. Whether Tyler Robinson was somehow involved as a stooge is kind of irrelevant, because he clearly did not orchestrate or shoot Kirk with an old WWII Mauser style .30-06. Those who truly want justice want the actual killers to be discovered, which means seeing through the obvious lies from the FBI and those involved in covering up the truth. We want justice for Kirk, and that means discovering the actual murders by doing real investigations and not covering up the crime scenes and refusing to ask hard questions because you think you have it all figured out in 10 minutes because of the patsy provided to you by obvious liars.
I’ve enjoyed many of your posts, but your take on the Kirk murder and obvious cover up is beyond bad. Please reconsider, as you are making yourself look totally clueless, which means there is no reason to follow your work.
Jacob is correct. With personal and professional experience we know the soft tipped round would do massive damage. This is about Candace, who I think has done some important work in this but isn’t always correct in everything.
