Lindsay Clancy and Reviling Wives

Clancy Trial Jurors Speak Out, And It’s Worse Than We Thought

The jurors from the Lindsay Clancy verdict have since begun surfacing in media interviews, following the hung jury mistrial. Lindsay Clancy was accused of murdering her 3 children and pleaded not guilty by reason of temporary insanity. 11 of the jurors voted to acquit, and 1 brave man held the line on Clancy’s guilt. But in these interviews, it is clear that reasonable doubt was not the standard by which jurors voted to acquit.

3 jurors sat for a local NBC interview and berated the holdout ex post facto for refusing to listen to them. Multiple jurors were nurses, like Clancy, unironically, and apparently inserted their own experiences as testimony, making the holdout legally correct in disregarding their medical insight.

However, their basis of reasonable doubt was not reasonable. The 3 boomer women on the Lindsay Clancy who spoke out had a basis for voting not guilty more insane than Clancy herself. They cite the lack of empathy from the prosecution and their inability to call prejudicial character witnesses to testify that Clancy was a bad mother. Instead, their basis for reasonable doubt was that Clancy loved her children and therefore could not have known she was killing them when she snapped.

This is unreasonable doubt. It’s not based on facts or evidence. It’s based purely on emotions and self-insertion. How many incidents of domestic violence homicide get an acquittal because the defendant once loved the victim?

Another juror told CBS Boston that she went in guilty and that jurors were chomping at the bit to acquit. She would change her mind so that Lindsay Clancy would get the help that she needs. The justice of the wicked is cruel.

One of the soyboys on the jury spoke out and chided the holdout for an inability to point to a testimony. It all sounds as though this holdout grew despondent because he knew he was in a room of unreasonable liberal women.

The fact that Clancy was lucid in a phone call during or immediately after the murders establishes awareness. The fact that she knew how not to kill herself but to make it look like she was attempting to kill herself shows her awareness.

Additionally, postpartum psychosis finally occurring 35 weeks post-birth is a ridiculous medical anomaly when, on average, it presents itself within the first 2 weeks. Clancy’s entire defense was an unreasonable doubt.

“He would not interact with us… He had the hardest time getting off the fact that Lindsay viciously killed her children”

The lone holdout is berated for not getting past the fact that Clancy committed a gruesome murder. Maybe the juror could not win the argument in deliberation. Maybe he “went rogue” and was practicing jury nullification according to the law. Whatever the exact motivation, he was the only juror interested in justice.
