Michael Bird is a prominent anti-Christian Nationalist. He’s sort of the Russell Moore of Australia. His recent celebration of a UK Supreme Court ruling that affirms sex as biological regardless of paperwork is for all of the wrong reasons. Bird writes:
A victory for science, women’s rights, gay rights, equality before the law, freedom of association, and common sense.
Bird celebrates this legal victory because its a win for every cause antithetical to Christ. Neither common sense and freedom of association benefited, as the British government still aggressively punishes so-called hate speech. Bird followed this up by insisting:
Even gay people deserve to have their biological sex recognized by the law and freedom of association. It comes from a commitment to liberal democracy so I don’t expect you to understand.
But this is also biblically untrue, as homosexuality should be criminalized, not protected. Michael Bird represents a perfect example of anti-Christian Nationalism because he makes obvious his religious commitments to liberalism.

That this Bird guy says this is a victory for “freedom of association” is interesting. So we can go back to having men only spaces now, like banning women from the workplace. If not, why not?
