Nevertheless, he has empowered his daughter and son in-law in ministry for quite some time. In 2022, TD Jakes slayed Sarah Jakes Roberts in the spirit while passing the torch to her. TD Jakes is sent a signal then, that his vast ministry empire will pass on to Sarah Jakes Roberts and her husband, Touré Roberts, in the event of his death or retirement.
TD Jakes underwent a health scare last November which put the succession plan into motion. Now Jakes announced:

He’s a charlatan and it’s makes sense he was and probably still is to some degree Coach Prime’s pastor. Monetize everything and use buzz words is what he does best.
