Every month, Evangelical Dark Web publishes a report of the previous month, provides ministry updates, and a survey of where things are at in the world of Evangelicalism. August was a scattered moth with some political focus, some celebrity focus, and some focus on Christian media. Our most successful article last month, see below, was promoted by Steve Deace on his social media platforms putting Tim Scott on blast. August was a much better month for the site than July was.

Discernment
In August, we published a verdict on Rick Warren, thus our top three articles of the month were also from the month. In September, we should finish our verdict on John Hagee. This research is in progress.
Video
Our top video coming in at the end of the month was an algorithm double whammy with The Chosen and Voddie Baucham. All three of the top three was at the end of the month. It was an odd month of stagnation, a summer lull, despite view counts being the same as July. Ad rates depleted but they may have resurfaced. We also published our first YouTube short which is a microcontent video. We would call the experiment a success, and we plan to do more.
Upcoming guests on livestreams include Charles Haywood on the 14th.
Podcast
Evangelical Dark Web’s audio podcast is growing rapidly. This month, we will surpass 20000 total downloads. Subscribe to it here.

Book Announcement
I happy to announce that I am working on a book titled Winning Not Winsome. The manuscript has been professionally edited. This month, it shall be done.
“Patreon” System
Evangelical Dark Web has a tier subscription service. A lot of competitors have this (a term of endearment in this case) and for good reason. The purpose of this is not to make the founder of this site rich. This is a labor of love and will remain that way. The fog of Spiritual Warfare persists for those of us on the ground. We need accurate reporting that mainstream Christian websites are not providing either because they simp for celebrities, sold out to liberalism, or both. Consider joining. This will allow access to all the Evangelical Dark Web has to offer, like polls for the next discernment verdict.
Soli Deo Gloria,
Ray
