FBC is the historic Southern Baptist megachurch and where Robert Jeffress pastors. It has about 16000 members. On Friday, its historic sanctuary burned, leaving a partial collapse of the structure and a mystery as to how the fire started.

Several reports have emerged about a boom preceding the fire. There is no evidence of arson at this time. No one was injured in the fire.
