Now that Donald Trump shall be the President yet again, many are coming out of the closet to declare their support after previously countersignaling his campaign for several months. Nick Fuentes is perhaps one of the most controversial influencers on the internet. With an audience that is perceived to be primarily comprised of Gen Z, has an army of anons and trolls who are colloquially called groypers.
To their credit, the Groypers won their first war, which was declared against the likes of Charlie Kirk and others in Con Inc. The notorious video of Kirk defending sodomite Rob Smith when asked “How does anal sex win the culture war?” was the sort of trolling that helped eventually push various activists to the right on issues of homosexuality.
However, in 2024, Fuentes declared a fatwa against the Trump campaign in what has been called Groyper Wars 2.
While there were some questionable decisions regarding the Trump campaign, Fuentes resorts to “dooming” and countersignaling Trump. He was one of many influencers who bought the initial media hype surrounding the Kamala campaign, infamously calling her a “brat.” Fuentes also laments the Zionist influence over the Trump campaign and was critical of JD Vance’s appointment as the running mate.
Although the Zionist influence is pervasive in politics, Trump represents a long-term shift against foreign policy interventionism, meaning he is opposed to Middle Eastern wars that benefit Israel, and while Trump might like Israel, there is beef between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu. This was further evident in their last interaction wherein Trump flexed over Bibi shaking his hand. Netanyahu is a warmonger whose power is contingent on provoking a full-scale war with Iran and persisting in his campaign against Gaza; otherwise, his career is likely finished. Furthermore, both Trump and Vance have signaled against war with Iran, with the VP stressing diplomatic options and incongruency of interest with Israel. For a rabid anti-Zionist like Fuentes, the Trump-Vance ticket is the most promising campaign in his lifetime.
Nevertheless, after months of countersignaling Trump, when election night came, Nick Fuentes flip-flopped and sided with the winners.
Essentially, Fuentes is taking a victory lap when he not only had opposed Trump but encouraged his supporters not to vote for him. There were several Groypers who wrote in their dear leader on the ballot. Many called him out for this, including Elijah Schaffer, who is normally sympathetic to him.
For good reason, there is suspicion surrounding Nick Fuentes. Many believe him to be a Fed because he was notoriously on video on January 6 advocating that people storm the Capitol. Likewise, there is credible speculation that Fuentes is not only a Fed, but also a Fag. Even if he was not the former, how would his behavior be any different? The regime wanted to depress Trump’s odds going into the election, and if he was not one of them, his efforts were an in-kind contribution. Moreover, certain elements want creatures like Fuentes to exist because they make “noticing” look distasteful. In other words, organizations like the ADL want Fuentes to be the face of anti-Zionism and “noticing” rather than someone like SovereignBrah, who has superior physiognomy and can appeal to normal Americans, who are slowly starting to notice.
In the end, this will hopefully be a wound to the online Groyper movement as the likely gay fed takes a hit to his credibility. While this will not be the end of Fuentes, his relevance will hopefully diminish after 2024.
