The overall outcome of the 2024 election was very promising for America. The return of Donald Trump with a mandate to govern, combined with the slate of appointments that have been announced, gives reason for optimism for the direction of America. Yet the glaring cause for pessimism is the issue of abortion, where the pro-life movement once again took massive defeats in red states, including Missouri and Arizona.
The aftermath of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade has proven that the pro-life movement lacks a political strategy to achieve an end to abortion in America. On one hand, there is the obvious grifter class of Big Baby activists who long advocated for show votes, but ultimately did not want abortion to be resolved so they could maintain their funding avenues. On the other hand, there are the Abolitionists, who while correct in their assessment of the pro-life industry, have proven that they lack any political strategy whatsoever while demanding precise, extreme solutions with no path of ratification. Abolitionists spent more online energy countersignaling Trump to engagement farm their profiles than they did in promoting the various ballot measures. Countersignaling Trump, whose voters are most persuadable to voting for Life on the down-ballot, was a counterintuitive, losing strategy that felt good at the moment, but was self-righteous grandstanding in the end.
Consequently, the pro-life cause went 2-8 in the 2024 season. Even the wins they achieved were on a technicality, with Florida’s Amendment 4 gaining a majority but failing to achieve the 60% threshold while Nebraska’s pro-life amendment succeeded despite Abolitionists like Virgil Walker countersignaling their own victory. If a football team goes 2-8, then the coaching staff gets fired and replaced with a new staff that brings in a new strategy for the organization. This too needs to happen to the pro-life movement if they desire to actually end abortion, not merely fundraise and grandstand about it.
2024 proved politics revealed politics to be rooted in gender, with Trump’s masculine politics delivering victory over Kamala’s feminist politics; however, the culture is simply too pro-abortion to change in one cycle. Changing the culture will take time, and the movement that waited fifty years to overturn Roe needs to expand its time horizon on ending abortion if it wishes to succeed. Going forward, Christians should be more involved in politics, not less.
So provided is a series of tactics that will prove to improve the image of the pro-life cause.
Infiltrate the Redpill Manosphere
The Sexual Revolution of the 60s led to the erosion of the family at all levels. Birthrates and marriage rates have declined since the 60s, leading to an incoming population collapse. Moreover, current economics discourages family formation.
The Redpill Manosphere arose to mainstream prominence in recent years highlighting the plight of young men in the dating market, which is mostly the result of feminism creating a sizable number of entitled, modern women. This sees the likes of Andrew Tate, but also several prominent podcasts like Whatever, FreshNFit, and the MGTOW movement (Men Going Their Own Way). Because politics is increasingly Men vs. Women, and the number one issue for women is having the right to be whores and murder their own children, the RedPill Manosphere is an effective evangelistic avenue for the Pro-Life Movement.
Why? Because the men are already informed about the disastrous effects of feminism. Abortion is but one of those effects. This means there is a receptive audience to the pro-life message which can be mobilized for political action. When Donald Trump was able to utilize a podcast strategy to mobilize young men to vote for him, which included going on Rogan and aligning with Elon Musk, it worked. He won because of young men.
The pro-life movement must appeal to this demographic and formulate arguments that appeal to men. The “love them both” does not speak to them. Arguing the US Constitution falls on deaf ears. Arguing virtue and nationalism will appeal to the young men, who long to be a part of something. Ending abortion is best for society and nation-building. Many of these men may be starting from libertine places, especially with regard to sexual ethics. The Libertarian to Dissident Right/Paleoconservatism pipeline is very real, and this is the most fertile ground for evangelism.
Brand the Women
Too often, the pro-life messaging is based on showing the gore that is involved in an abortion. This means images or animations of aborted fetuses and the grotesque practices involved in the procedure. However, the problem is not that women are unaware they are killing their children, but rather they either do not care, believing that their desires supersede that of their children. Thus, the debate over life is entirely relegated. For far too long, anti-abortion activism has been dominated by women and thus sympathetic to the mothers who abort their own kids. Other institutions like Pre-Born, promoted by Con Inc., follow the “love them both” strategy. This has failed.
The strategy must be to brand abortion as low-class and the women who get abortions as grotesque.
The Left brands abortion as freedom, but unironically, all the women featured in this generic poster are hideous, overweight, androgynous, unAmerican, or ghetto. Thus, this type of branding actually can be weaponized against the Left, turning abortion into something perceived as low status. Physiognomy is real, and if beauty is associated with life while abortion is with ugliness, then abortion will be recast in a negative light on a societal level. Again, this is reality, as was evident with the women who entered the roadside clinic at the 2024 DNC.
Society is already Men vs. Women, so the ideal route to increase the share of men voting for pro-life measures is to brand abortion as low status and make abortions equivalent to a high body count in the culture. One cannot end abortion beyond the first trimester in a society that promotes promiscuity, so efforts must be undertaken to brand whoredom as low-status, and whores themselves as undesirable. This likewise would change the attitudes of some women, who do not want to be associated with something that is low status. Just as Trump increased his share of Hispanic men by 20% and subsequently increased his share with women by 8%, so too can this improve the pro-life electorate with an increase in men driving an increase in women.
Promote Natalism
The Pro-Life movement does need to expand beyond the single issue of abortion. This is not to promote the leftist “womb-to-tomb” slogans, but rather for the infrastructure that seeks to protect the unborn encouraging childrearing directly. The fertility crisis is very real and will have devastating effects on the West if not reversed. Just as abortion must be negatively branded, so too must life be positively branded.
On the New Right, Natalism is gaining in popularity to redress this civilizational crisis. Although Elon Musk is currently pro-abortion on some level, he has on numerous occasions pointed to the fertility crisis and the declining birthrates. The Pro-Life movement would strengthen its versatility if it emphasized Natalism, especially on a national level. This would build a coalition while rewarding the Christian Conservatives who benefit because they have children. Since politics is Friend vs. Enemy, this would be a means to reward Friends via tax credits and other social policies. Childrearing is a duty, both to God and the State, so it is imperative that the New Right is Natalist to cultivate a culture of Life.
Even if every ballot measure banning abortion fails in the intermediate term, Natalism is good politics that will establish victories to build upon while helping political friends. Combined with mass deportations, out-populating the Left is a viable long-term strategy. In the short-term, it would build the necessary bridges with policymakers and donors, which while not aligned today, could be instrumental towards the cause of life nonetheless. Someone like Elon Musk, who is amenable to natalism today, might become anti-abortion tomorrow. Natalism is inherently anti-abortion, so it would be foolish for the Pro-Life movement not to get in on the ground level of a rising American natalist shift.
Conclusions
Just as politics is divided by gender, so too must the Pro-Life movement take on a masculine strategy to end abortion, one that appeals to the men in our society. The Trump victory established a slew of strategies for the Pro-life movement to weaponize if they wish to change the culture. The proof of concept is there. Activists must increasingly demonstrate a willingness to work within the political process rather than abstain. Purity spiraling over Trump or RFK goes absolutely nowhere while chastising the most receptive, persuadable audience. The world is more than just one issue. Now is not the time for Christians to resign from politics over impurities in the system, but to double down with a strategy that recognizes ongoing sociological and political trends.
