Wesley Huff on Joe Rogan

After Joe Rogan Experience, Wesley Huff’s Discernment Will Be Tested

The resounding success of Wesley Huff’s appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience has given Huff a sizable fanbase and showcased his credibility as an apologist. If you want to test a man’s character, give him prosperity, and this is what has happened to Welsey Huff this week. So with that said, wolves are already trying to sink their teeth into Huff to undermine his ministry.

Enter Preston Sprinkle, the leading purveyor of Side B Theology, teaching that homosexual and transvestite desires and identity are not sinful. This partial affirmation of sodomy and transgenderism is a corrosive threat to the church which, in Evangelicalism, held its ground against the Matthew Vines of the world.

Nevertheless, Preston Sprinkle has a burgeoning movement, bolstered by academic credentials and connections, with both megachurch pastors and “Christian” YouTubers alike.

Often in Apologetics, the biggest names have terrible theology. Ravi Zacharias was legendary and that story did not have a happy ending. William Lane Craig is extremely liberal in his theology. Going on, Sean McDowell promotes feminism, Side B Theology. Gavin Ortlund is a liberal, like his father, and a great argument for Eastern Orthodoxy. Frank Turek supports female pastors, etc.

Wesley Huff shows signs of being less than ideal on Genesis. However, he showed a level of discernment concerning Jordan Peterson that you don’t often see from apologists. Hopefully, God enables him to see through the wolves like Preston Sprinkle, and others, who want to milk his fame and undermine his ministry.

  1. If you embrace evolution and deny Genesis, you deny original sin, if you deny original sin you deny the need for a savior.

  2. “…and a great argument for Eastern Orthodoxy.”

Another highlighting of how accepting Ephesus is absolute damnable heresy; you should not be able to say that ANYTHING is a good argument for becoming a Mary worshipping cultist; but because you accept the doctrine from hell of calling Mary “Mother of God” you are halfway across the Bosphorus already.

  3. @Whitney. You’re saying you don’t believe you sin, so you wouldn’t need a savior based on sinning yourself, since you’re a sinless angel. So sin is to you a fake problem, “Adam sinned and that’s the only reason anyone would need a savior.” This is a denial of personal sin, and therefore the need for repentance, and therefore anyone who holds this cannot be saved because they can’t even admit they are sinners. In reality this view leads to a comic book Jesus as myth and story book character; “fictional character Adam sinned, fictional character Jesus died to eradicate his sin, has nothing to do with me, and I have nothing to do; the comic book characters handled the fake problem already.” That’s what Calvinism is, comic book theology.
