Presbyterian Church in America Repents Of Violating Romans 13

The Presbyterian Church in America faced a lot of backlash after it was exposed that they were offering resources advising illegal aliens on how to conceal their status from law enforcement through the Mission to North America. Mission To North America provides resources and training curriculums for the PCA, making it a strategic institution in Presbyterianism. They put out and then removed resources to assist people who have invaded the United States. Now, the PCA has responded with a statement of repentance.

The statement from Mission To North America reads:

Mission to North America (MNA) serves the PCA for the advancement of Christ’s kingdom through our churches in the U.S. and Canada. We do this through a two-pronged focus on church planting and church vitality. Our church planting efforts facilitate starting and supporting new PCA churches. Our church vitality efforts provide ministry resources that enable our churches to grow in their outward facing missional engagement in their communities, loving neighbors as our Lord commands (Matt 22:39). One such long-standing MNA ministry is our Refugee and Immigrant Ministry (RIM).

Recently, we posted links on our webpage to external organizations offering a wide range of recommendations and frequently asked questions on immigration. MNA’s leadership erroneously allowed the posting of content that advised undocumented persons on ways to avoid being detained by authorities. We affirm that it is our Christian duty to obey the lawful commands of the civil magistrate and be subject to their authority (WCF 23.4; Romans 13:1-4; 1 Peter 2:13-14). To counsel otherwise is a sin. We confess that we fell short of our Biblical and Confessional standard. We repent and apologize. We also apologize for causing confusion and consternation in our church. We have removed all the previously posted information from our website.

MNA’s Refugee & Immigrant Ministry, along with other MNA ministries, seeks to serve our churches with resources that enable them to faithfully follow our Lord’s call to love the stranger. However, MNA does not engage in providing legal advice, political campaigning or partisan positions. The information we post going forward will provide ecclesiastical resources in line with our Confession for guidance on the matter.

The MNA Permanent Committee is holding its Spring Meeting during the first week of March and this issue is docketed for further focused discussion as part of the Committee’s regular oversight of MNA’s ministries. The Committee does this work on behalf of the General Assembly of the PCA, which meets annually in June.

While it is good to see that the PCA’s MNA has repented of this treachery citing Romans 13 and their own faith confession, this statement is only the first second step in addressing the issue, with the first being the removal of the content.

The PCA must remove the people who did this starting with Angela Pacey, the director of the Refugee and Immigrant Ministry of Mission to North America. Pacey is a long-time member of Kevin DeYoung’s Christ Covenant Church in Matthews, NC. Kevin DeYoung has a long history with the woke Gospel Coalition. She also signed her name using her PCA credentials onto World Relief’s statement denouncing the stoppage of money to their open border’s profiteering.

  1. While it’s good that the PCA is repenting of their support for illegal immigration, their reasoning for doing so is flawed.

They state: “We affirm that it is our Christian duty to obey the lawful commands of the civil magistrate and be subject to their authority”

Um, no. They must be joking.

We have absolutely ZERO duty to obey earthly authorities or be subject to their authority.

The very idea of that is repulsive and repugnant to any true American.

This country was FOUNDED on the idea of rebellion against earthly powers, rulers, and authority.

Our country wouldn’t even exist in the first place, if patriots such as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and the Continental Army had believed that oppressive nonsensical garbage about “obeying the lawful commands of the civil magistrate and being subject to their authority.”

The PCA should be asked: Do you believe that George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry and the Revolutionary soldiers were sinning by rebelling against King George III ?

Because if the PCA believes that Christians have any sort of “Christian duty” to obey and submit to earthly authorities/rulers/governments, then the only logical conclusion is that the patriots who fought the British and founded the USA were sinning and rebelling against God’s Will.

Of course, the idea that Christians have any “Christian duty” to obey the government is utter nonsense. Even worse, that idea is downright evil and dangerous.

Biden’s regime tried to pressure all Americans into getting the COVID vaccine. Did Americans have a “Christian duty” to obey that, and be “subject to Biden’s authority”?

    Of course NOT.

If the US government ever orders all Americans to get the mark of the beast, should Christians obey?

    Of course NOT.

Do Americans have a “Christian duty” to submit to and obey a government that promotes evil anti-White policies such as racial integration and race-mixing?

    Of course NOT.

Do Americans have a “Christian duty” to submit to and obey a government that brainwashes White people into feeling guilty for being White and existing, a government that teaches White people to hate their own race and heritage? Should any Christians feel a “Christian duty” to obey such a government?

    Of course NOT.

In all of the above cases, Christians should absolutely NOT submit to or obey such an evil government.

In fact, RESISTANCE against such an evil anti-White government is a CHRISTIAN DUTY.

The PCA’s claim that anyone has a “Christian duty” to obey or submit to an earthly government, is absolutely dangerous and manipulative cr*p.

I suspect that the PCA knows this and are intentionally trying to manipulate, deceive, and gaslight Christians into believing that “god” will be angry if they oppose an anti-White government.

I suspect that the PCA is intentionally laying the groundwork for a future campaign to gaslight and manipulate and deceive Christians into believing that “yOu wiLL gO tO heLL” if you don’t obey the anti-White government and submit to the destruction of the White race.

Of course, the idea that ANY Christian should obey or submit to an anti-White government is ABSOLUTELY AND TOTALLY FALSE.

The TRUTH is that RESISTANCE against an anti-White government is a Christian duty.

That’s because Christianity teaches that it’s our responsibility to take care, love, protect, and defend our own people. And our White racial kith and kin are our own people.

Any White person who is complicit in ANY anti-White policies, is a race traitor.

  2. Why mention Patrick Henry as a hero? He did nothing of note but make a fiery speech. And if that’s not bad enough, he encouraged white women to marry Indians, or so I’ve been told, which many Americans thought was sinful at the time. As much as many hate to admit it, the fact that our country was founded on rebellion has led to many of its problems.

  3. “Why mention Patrick Henry as a hero? He did nothing of note but make a fiery speech.”

That fiery speech was the spark which inspired a revolution that defeated the British Empire and created a new country.

Don’t discount the power and influence of a charismatic orator, for good or for ill.

Throughout the centuries, many pivotal historical events that shaped the course of nations, continents, and even the world, have been catalyzed by powerful speakers.

“And if that’s not bad enough, he encouraged white women to marry Indians, or so I’ve been told, which many Americans thought was sinful at the time.”

It’s still sinful today. If God wanted everyone to look the same, He would never have bothered to create the separate races, each with their own unique appearance and attributes.

I had not heard that Patrick Henry encouraged miscegenation.

A quick google search indicates that you are indeed correct.

Huh, I guess I learn something new every day. I’m disappointed.

“As much as many hate to admit it, the fact that our country was founded on rebellion has led to many of its problems.”

That’s an intriguing view. Which problems do you feel have been caused by America’s heritage of being founded on rebellion?

With regard to rebellion in general, I take the opposite view.

In my view, there are absolutely times when rebellion is morally right and necessary.

For example, the German people should have rebelled in 2015 when the arch-traitor Angela Merkel flooded Germany with millions of violent barbaric savages, and then had the nerve to announce that “islam has become part of Germany.”

As another example, the British people should have rebelled in 2010 when it became public knowledge that the government is intentionally importing millions of immigrants to “change the face of Britain”, and that the government is allowing muslim rape gangs to violate countless little White British girls. In fact, the British people should rebel now, since Keir Starmer is still continuing the same policies as his predecessors.

White Christians have not only a right but a DUTY to rebel against and resist any government that promotes any type of anti-White policies.

  4. Thanks for a great article. If it had been the SBC, the content would have simply been removed. Down the memory hole.
