Redeemed Zoomer is a prominent YouTuber with half a million subs. He makes normie explainer content and tier lists, and uses these as a means to onboard believers to his Reconquista agenda. He is a PCUSA member and is practicing what he preaches. However, his cause is doomed, and he is not honest about it.
In Just War Theory, the first basis for whether a war is justified is a reasonable chance of success. This applies to both offensive and defensive efforts. With the passage of the gay inquisition amendment to the Book of Church Order, the PCUSA has passed amendments banning discrimination against homosexuals and followed that up with requiring Presbyterians to ask elder and deacon candidates about their commitments to homosexual inclusion.
These measures passed overwhelmingly, with only 9 presbyteries opposed. Thus, the PCUSA is banning Christians from being ordained. Reconquista is, therefore, over, dead. If only 9 presbyteries are not compromised on sodomy, and all the others are, the ability for Christians to gain ground through a long march the institutions is impossible. Wandering for 40 years, waiting for the Boomers generation to die off, in order to turn the tide of doctrinal decline is a fool’s errand that could corrupt the spiritual fabric of one’s family, being under this insidious influence. Whereas, other mainline denominations might be salvageable with a long game approach, the PCUSA is among the worst.
However, the sunk cost fallacy of Redeemed Zoomer’s life mission is not even the dangerous part. Redeemed Zoomer is not actually committed to restoring the PCUSA or any other mainline denomination to doctrinal orthodoxy, much less praxis. Being to the left of Tim Keller, Redeemed Zoomer is simply trying to return to a previous era of mainline degradation.
And with his large following, he will drag many along with him. Redeemed Zoomer is theologically liberal, as he promotes feminist, super woke, tacitly gay affirming churches as conservative examples. He went in to influence the PCUSA and is quickly becoming the PCUSA.
Jesus promotes the example in Mark 6 to kick the dust off your sandals as a sign of judgment against a town. Such can be said of a denomination that belongs in the ash heap of history. Good people may get caught up in the Reconquista movement and inhibit their spiritual growth for a quest to recapture control of seemingly nice buildings. They will suffer romantically, paternally, and fraternally, all for the dubious prospect of making the PCUSA less gay.
In the meantime, those joining his cause will come out more gay than if they otherwise joined a sound church, even a nondenominational megachurch (for those at least have fellowship opportunities).
Redeemed Zoomer is not honest enough to admit this to his followers, and instead spins a narrative that his cause can continue. This is a doomed cause that should be mocked and memed.

You certainly can tell his heritage based on how he whiny he acts. He’s not mature enough either to discern that the SBC is still better than the ABC. Who cares how an exterior of a church looks when the theology is bad.
