At one point in time, Will Spencer was considered the Christian response to the Manosphere, a champion for biblical masculinity. But this was forfeited over his thin-skinned social media crash-outs, where he highlighted how he “studied the blade.” As an anti-Christian Nationalist, Will Spencer has been a disciple of James Lindsay and has used his talking points to attack Christians.
He recently wrote an article called, “The Dangerous Secret Your Young Men Are Keeping: Neo-Nazi Thought Has Entered the Church” which was promoted by Doug Wilson, Owen Strachan, Jon Harris, and Justin Taylor. Already, the framing is “everything I don’t like it Hitler.”
I lacked a close relationship with my earthly father back then, too. Liberal households don’t have much use for male headship. My mother’s moods, misbehaviors, and frequent migraines ruled our home.
While my dad amply provided for my mother, my sister, and I, these factors nonetheless combined to leave me under-fathered. When my parents divorced after I went to college, and my dad subsequently remarried, I was effectively left on my own.
Spencer begins his article by claiming there’s a plight of fatherlessness and that this affected him. This has been Doug Wilson’s attack on his critics, which was baseless when he did it. However, Will Spencer is different in that he attempts to relate to the men he criticizes by projecting his poor relationship with his father onto them.
As a high-speed internet user since 1996, I can testify to the reality of the above. As serious a problem as Internet pornography is today—and it is a problem—the viral ideologies that spread amongst extremely-online men pose a far more pernicious threat. Especially now that these ideas have surfaced in veiled form on censorship-free platforms like X and especially Gab, where they thrive in the open.
First, it must be pointed out that high-speed internet was nonexistent in 1996. Moreover, to claim to be in the Manosphere realm and then say that pornography is less pernicious a threat than right-wing wrongthink is absolutely mindblowing for a professing Christian to say. It is extreme Jewish nonsense.
Will Spencer then gives a poor lecture on the history of online discourse and summarizes what he’s opposing as the following cartoon.

Note the rogue’s gallery of degenerate interest groups: screeching feminists, inner city and MS13 gang members, homosexuals, and pedophiles. Note the massive Jewish spider towering like a puppet-master behind them, complete with bulbous nose, lustful eyes, and Star of David crown. Whether the artist was aware or not, the drawing echoes Nazi-era German propaganda that used spider symbolism to portray Jews as the source of all evil.
The problem with Spencer’s opposition to the cartoon is that it’s a perfect embodiment of Jewish beliefs and practices, and should be expected of a population that hates Christ and has made this the central component of their identity. Jews openly admit to being behind “every “ism” except nazism” (Dennis Prager).
If you want to know what’s gotten into young men—including many Christians and even pastors—this is it. It’s a form of gnostic “secret knowledge” that such groups operate with. It can be likened to what left-wing academia calls “critical consciousness” in that they believe the worldview allows its adherents to see reality “as it truly is.” If you don’t know or agree with their narrative, you’ve got “Boomer brain.” Therefore, you fall on the wrong side of the “friend/enemy distinction.”
Echoing James Lindsay, Will Spencer accuses his detractors of gnosticism and subsequently dives into obscure reading and viewing material. This is before getting to his main attack on Stone Chior and he explains his friendship and subsequent falling out with Ryan Demperth (Treble Woe).
I pulled the podcast down immediately after speaking to Pastor Ellis on the phone and posted a tweet repenting for my association with views I found abhorrent. I stated truthfully that had I known what Stone Choir really believed, I never would have interviewed them in the first place.
Nonetheless, the poor discernment was mine. The folly was mine. The buck for my life and my work stops with me.
But this, of course, is disingenuous, since Will Spencer knew what Stone Choir believed, according to screenshots, was a bigger H-Man fan, and suddenly had a course correction in light of public backlash for association.
Influencers like Candace Owens, Andrew Tate, and Nick Fuentes have hinted at these beliefs on X. Rapper Kanye West is singing “Heil Hitler!” in his latest single, after being cancelled for ranting about “the Jews” in 2022. Joe Rogan interviewed Darryl Cooper, aka “Martyr Made,” the host of a history podcast who has attempted to normalize the narrative through scholarly revisionism about Winston Churchill. Worst of all, Reformed pastors have released videos talking about “Talmudic Judaism,” “heritage Americans,” and “low-IQ minorities,” all of which are dog-whistles playing Stone Choir’s Neo Nazi tune to young men who can hear it.
These individuals know what they’re doing, in other words. That becomes obvious, once you see it for what it is.
After attacking Stone Choir, Will Spencer adjusts his aim towards Christian Nationalists like Joel Webbon, Andrew Isker, and Stephen Wolfe. He credits their success to the “fatherless generation,” which he has yet to substantiate.
Finally, if you as a pastor are considering admitting a man to membership in your church, or if you have a parishioner, podcaster, or even fellow pastor that you’re wondering about, ask him one question: “Do you believe the Jews are committing cultural genocide against straight white men and families?”
There are three possible answers:
The first is, “Excuse me, what?” I consider this to be the ideal case.
The second is, “No.” Which would mean the man has perhaps encountered this worldview and rejected it.
The third can only be hesitation, which indicates he is entertaining or holding beliefs he’s not willing to acknowledge. Those beliefs can then be drawn out of him, through speaking the truth in love using tools of reason and faith.
If a man applying for membership in a church cannot or will not examine these views and repent, I strongly advise slowing down the membership process. The views spread virally. If the man is admitted, he will almost certainly sow them in others.
The danger is not that the views are wholly false. Rather, like all convincing lies, it’s that they draw incorrect conclusions from partially accurate observations.
One of the most viral moments in this article was where Will Spencer believes that the Jewish Question should be a test of fellowship in the body of Christ. This is as abhorrent as asking in 2020 whether you believed COVID-19 came from a lab rather than a wet market or in 2021 asking believers if they affirm or deny the jabs. The lab leak theory was objectively true and facially obvious at the time. Likewise, Jews subverting Christian/Western civilization is a phenomenon that appears for many centuries across different nations.
After all, the Frankfurt School, which pioneered Critical Race Theory in the United States, was extremely Jewish. The Biden Administration was also extremely Jewish. Therefore, the resolution “Jews are committing cultural genocide against straight white men and families” holds up. But again, non-Christians don’t fit into a Christian culture.
Will Spencer’s argumentation is poor and focuses much more on esoteric thought than on engaging the other side’s views. Moreover, he projects his personal story onto others, which is less than helpful to any meaningful discourse. His hysteria is embarrassing for anyone who thought that he was a meaningful response to the Andrew Tates of the world.

It should be important to note, that what is classified as High Speed Interent seems to always be changing. Few recall that cable modems and ten base 10 connections had existed for a while but were extremely, expensive for most home users. And I’d add likely dependent upon where someone lived.

I think the max then would have been 1.5 megabits per second (the equivalent of later have shot gunned 56k modems. Today that doesn’t seem fast at all, but back in the day it was light years ahead of regular phone modems.
But important to emphasize, it was not everywhere, was not cheap, and not everyone could get it even if they wanted it as a result.
What happened to Jon Harris?
Daddy issues but instead of a 20 YO woman-child, it’s grown men that should have wisdom, not embarrassing bluster and oy gevalts, to show for their age. How novel.
Contrary to Con Inc lies, the needed headship authority these…. people… feels is missing isn’t a matter of fatherhood, of family but what a matter of the whole society. Of the national community so to speak.
Truly, the boomer generation is the great canvas of the free world’s SOCIAL ENGINEERING and it’s simple to go against, all you need to know is that everything you’ve been taught to feel strongly about from MLK to Solsjenitsyn to the pile of shoes and a lifeless Mars, is truly ALL fake and cringe and the answer isn’t to ignore or deny it but be really, really angry about it.
Things are looking up but of course, young White men have the opposite problem. aren’t “neo-nazi” enough by a long shot, which is the only thing comprehensive enough to break through the collective mind curse that has been put on the west. Same with young White women.
Then again, Rome wasn’t built in a day and there is work to do.
