It’s not often that something significant happens in Congress, but the spending bill called the Big Beautiful Bill is a massive package to tackle immigration, the woke agenda, and extend Trump’s first-term tax cuts. This bill is essentially the Project 2025 Agenda. So why is this even a debate? It increases the national debt ceiling. And also, Elon Musk has an affinity for importing the third world (more on that in an article to come).
But then the providence of God has a riot in Los Angeles following a modest ICE raid. The riot has featured large crowds of liberal agitators waving foreign flags and attacking law enforcement, setting fires, and committing opportunistic crimes. It’s 2020 all over again, except this time, Trump is deploying the National Guard, and SecDef Pete Hegseth has the Marines on standby.
But the mob of military-aged men waving foreign flags and attacking law enforcement is an optic that shoves in the American people’s faces that these people need to be deported.
The national debt, while fiscally irresponsible, is not a greater concern than having a country. Every country spends in times of war, and America is being invaded, and the BBB is the first legislative attempt at fighting back since the 1950s.
There is an order to how serious every issue is, and the national debt in no way is more important than the invasion. For the bean counters in Washington, it’s unacceptable for the Federal Reserve to loan the US government additional trillions. But there is no political will to reduce spending, and there will likely never be, because Social Security and Medicare exist. Moreover, Congress deals in discretionary spending, which is a fraction of total spending.
As for me and my household, we support the BBB so that we can build a wall and build infrastructure for mass deportations. This is what we voted for.

Amen! Yes
If there’s no country left it doesn’t matter if we default on our debt. Let’s worry about that later.
Shoot the invaders
Great job of summarizing it here and on the podcast!
