The other major blemish for the Babylon Bee is their reputational devotion to Zionism. In the month of July, there would be two high profile attacks on Christians carried out by Israeli forces or their proxies. The first was a village south of Jerusalem was attacked by West Bank settlers. The second was a church in Gaza that was attacked.

In response to the images of this attack which killed 3 people and wounded 9 others, Wasson Watches disparaged what was plainly visible.
The church that Israel “destroyed.” I see a little damage to the facade, and then damaged buildings in the BACKGROUND when you look from a different angle. This is total exaggeration on the part of Candace Owens and other known antisemites.
Even though the side view shows a wrecked church, Wasson Watches feigned ignorance of the damage done.
Joel Berry initially blamed Hamas, but changed his tune to disparage the church itself.
This won’t be easy for people to hear, but there are only about 200 professed Catholics still living in Gaza and they all support Hamas.
True Christian faith still exists in Gaza, but it’s all underground. Anyone allowed by Hamas to practice openly is allowed to do so only because they aid and support the terror regime.
This was correctly seen by Protestants and Catholics alike as justifying their deaths, as signaling their support for Hamas and likening the actions of the IDF to reprisals. Reprisals are a reality of war, as shown in the Book of Judges, the Spanish Civil War, the Korean War, and of course the American War of Independence.
Even if Joel Berry’s conjecture about this church’s support for Hamas is accurate, it would not necessarily be sinful as support can take many forms when a foreign adversary has a proverbial and literal gun to your head.
However, the evidence shows that the IDF aimed for the cross, and this is far from the first time they have targeted a church, so this is inherently evil because this was an expression of hatred towards God.
Even Mike Huckabee cannot help but notice the Israeli hostility towards Christianity, as he called for justice for the attack on the Christian village while raising the issue of Evangelical travel visas.
The reaction from the Papist crowd has been interesting to behold. The Babylon Bee has strained this audience but attacking their martyrs is worse form than their slop jokes about Mary.

Even though Catholics are idolators by worshiping Mary, Israel must be punished for targeting them.
